C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) In all galley areas, make sure that all the circuit breakers are closed.
   (2) On the AC power center 123VU and the rear circuit breaker panel 122VU, make sure that all the circuit breakers related to the galley feeder (xxMC) are closed.
   (3) On circuit breaker panel 2000VU, make sure that all the circuit breakers related to the cabin lighting (xxxLG) are closed.
NOTE: The applicable circuit breakers xxMC and xxxLG are related to the different cabin configurations.
   (4) On the ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that the GALY & CAB pushbutton switch is pushed (OFF legend off).
   (5) On this panel, make sure that the ELEC/COMMERCIAL pushbutton switch is released (OFF legend on).
   (6) On the FWD ATTENDANT panel 120RH, make sure that the pushbutton switches that supply the ceiling and window lights are pushed.
   (7) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
4. Procedure

A. Test of the Commercial Electrical Load Shedding
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the ECAM control panel:
  • Push the ELEC key to get access to the ELEC page.
On the lower ECAM DU:
  • The ELEC page comes into view with the white GALLEY SHED indication.
2.On the electrical panel 35VU:
  • Push the ELEC/COMMERCIAL pushbutton switch.
On the electrical panel 35VU:
  • The OFF legend of the ELEC/COMMERCIAL pushbutton switch goes off.

On the lower ECAM DU:
  • The GALLEY SHED indication goes out of view.

In the forward and aft galleys:
  • Make sure that the galley equipment operates.


If the mid galleys are installed:
  • Make sure that the mid galley equipment operates.

In the passenger cabin:
  • The CEILING and WINDOW lights come on.
3.On the electrical panel 35VU:
  • Release the ELEC/COMMERCIAL pushbutton switch.
On the electrical panel 35VU:
  • The OFF legend of the ELEC/COMMERCIAL pushbutton switch comes on.

On the lower ECAM DU:
  • The white GALLEY SHED indication comes into view.

In the forward and aft galleys:
  • Make sure that no galley equipment operates.


If the mid galleys are installed:
  • Make sure that no mid galley equipment operates.

In the passenger cabin:
  • The CEILING and WINDOW lights go off.
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
