C. In the forward and aft galleys, make sure that all the circuit breakers are closed.

D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the overhead ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that the GALY & CAB pushbutton switch is pushed (OFF legend is off).
   (2) On this panel, make sure that the ELEC/COMMERCIAL pushbutton switch is released (OFF legend is on).
   (3) On the FWD Attendant Panel (FAP), make sure that the MAIN ON pushbutton switch is set to ON (the green lights of the CABIN WDO and CABIN CLG pushbutton switches are on).
   (4) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).

D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the overhead ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that the GALY & CAB pushbutton switch is pushed (OFF legend is off).
   (2) On this panel, make sure that the ELEC/COMMERCIAL pushbutton switch is released (OFF legend is on).
   (3) On the Flight Attendant Panel (FAP), select the CABIN LIGHTING page:
  • Push the hard key LIGHT MAIN ON/OFF to get the lights on, and
  • On the CABIN LIGHTING page make sure that AISLE and WDO buttons are green.
   (4) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
4. Procedure
Subtask 24-51-00-040-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Deactivation of the Galley Supply System
   (1) Test of the Commercial Electrical Load-Shedding
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the ECAM control panel:
  • Get the ELEC system page.
On the lower display unit of the ECAM system:
  • The ELEC page comes into view with the white GALLEY SHED indication.
2.On the ELEC panel 35VU:
  • Push the ELEC/COMMERCIAL pushbutton switch.
On the panel 35VU:
  • The OFF legend of the ELEC/COMMERCIAL pushbutton switch goes off.

On the lower display unit of the ECAM system:
  • The GALLEY SHED indication goes out of view.

In the forward and aft galleys:
  • Make sure that the galleys operate.

In the passenger cabin:
  • The CEILING and WINDOW lights come on.
3.On the ELEC panel 35VU:
  • Release the ELEC/COMMERCIAL pushbutton switch.
On the panel 35VU:
  • The OFF legend of the ELEC/COMMERCIAL pushbutton switch comes on.

On the lower display unit of the ECAM system:
  • The white GALLEY SHED indication comes into view.

In the forward and aft galleys:
  • Make sure that no equipment operate.

In the passenger cabin:
  • The CEILING and WINDOW lights go off.
5. Close-up
Subtask 24-51-00-860-053-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) On the overhead ELEC panel 35VU:
  • Push the ELEC/COMMERCIAL pushbutton switch (OFF legend is off), and
  • Push the GALY & CAB pushbutton switch (OFF legend is off).
   (2) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (3) Make an entry in the logbook.
   (4) Put a PLACARD in the cockpit to tell persons that the galley supply system is deactivated.
   (5) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
