A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at access door 811.
(2) Make sure that access door 811 is open.
(3) Make sure that ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position at access door 121AL.
(4) Make sure that access door 121AL is open.
(5) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft receptacle.
(6) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on access door 121AL to tell persons not to use the external power receptacle.
(7) In the cockpit, on overhead ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at access door 811.
(2) Make sure that access door 811 is open.
(3) Make sure that ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position at access door 121AL.
(4) Make sure that access door 121AL is open.
(5) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft receptacle.
(6) Make sure that a WARNING NOTICE(S) is in position on access door 121AL to tell persons not to use the external power receptacle.
(7) In the cockpit, on overhead ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
- BAT 1, BAT 2
- APU GEN
- GEN 1, GEN 2
- EXT PWR.
- 21VU (EMER ELEC PWR)
- 35VU (ELEC).

A. Installation of the External Power Receptacle
(2) Put the external power receptacle (14) in position.
(3) Install the four washers (15) and studs (16) on the external power receptacle (14), then tighten the studs (16) ESPM 2045930.
(4) Install the three washers (11) and screws (10) and then tighten the screws (10) ESPM 2045930.
(5) Install the two electrical wires (9).
(6) Install the two washers (8), lock washers (7) and nuts (6) and then tighten the nuts (6) ESPM 2045930.
(7) Install the four electrical wires (5).
(8) Install the four washers (4), lock washers (3) and nuts (2) and then tighten the nuts (2) ESPM 2045930.
(9) Install the protective cover (1).
(10) Install the four washers (17), lock washers (19) and nuts (18) and then tighten the nuts (18) ESPM 2045930.
Subtask 24-41-51-710-050-A CAUTION:
REFER TO THE MATCH MARKS MADE DURING THE REMOVAL WHEN YOU CONNECT THE ELECTRICAL WIRES.
INCORRECT CONNECTION OF THE WIRES WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Put a new AIPC 24-41-01-01-040 SEAL (13) or AIPC 24-41-81-01-090 SEAL (13) on its support (12). (2) Put the external power receptacle (14) in position.
(3) Install the four washers (15) and studs (16) on the external power receptacle (14), then tighten the studs (16) ESPM 2045930.
(4) Install the three washers (11) and screws (10) and then tighten the screws (10) ESPM 2045930.
(5) Install the two electrical wires (9).
(6) Install the two washers (8), lock washers (7) and nuts (6) and then tighten the nuts (6) ESPM 2045930.
(7) Install the four electrical wires (5).
(8) Install the four washers (4), lock washers (3) and nuts (2) and then tighten the nuts (2) ESPM 2045930.
(9) Install the protective cover (1).
(10) Install the four washers (17), lock washers (19) and nuts (18) and then tighten the nuts (18) ESPM 2045930.
B. Test of the External Power Supply
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are correctly energized with the external power supply (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
