A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) In the cockpit, on the overhead ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that the GEN 1 and GEN 2 pushbutton switches are in the ON position (FAULT legend on).
(3) On the MCDU, get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page of the ELEC system (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-004).

4. Procedure
Subtask 24-41-00-710-069-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Test of the GPCU from the Centralized Fault Display System (CFDS)

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the MCDU, on the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page of the ELEC system: Push the line key adjacent to the AC GEN indication.	On the MCDU: The AC GEN page comes into view.
2.On the AC GEN page: Push the line key adjacent to the TEST indication.	On the MCDU, on the AC GEN page: The TEST WAIT message comes into view (after some seconds). Then the TEST OK message comes into view (after some seconds).
3.On the ELEC panel 35VU: Release the GEN 1 and GEN 2 pushbutton switches.	On the ELEC panel 35VU: The OFF legend of the GEN 1 and GEN 2 pushbutton switches comes on.
Push the GEN 1 and GEN 2 pushbutton switches.	The FAULT legend of the GEN 1 and GEN 2 pushbutton switches comes on.
4.On the MCDU: Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the AC GEN page comes into view.

B. Check of the class 3 faults of the GPCU from the CFDS

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the MCDU, on the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page of the ELEC system: Push the line key adjacent to the AC GEN indication.	On the MCDU: The AC GEN page comes into view.
2.On the AC GEN page: Push the line key adjacent to the CLASS 3 FAULTS indication.	On the AC GEN page: The NO FAULT message comes into view.

Subtask 24-41-00-860-064-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
