A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits only from the external power.
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) On the MCDU, get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST/ELEC page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-004).

A. BITE Test of the GAPCU
NOTE: The actions and the results of this procedure occur on the MCDU you use.

1.Push the line key adjacent to the AC GEN indication.
The EPGS page comes into view.
2.Push the line key adjacent to the SYSTEM TEST indication.
The EPGS/SYSTEM TEST page with the CONFIRM APU AND ENGINES ARE NOT RUNNING indication comes into view.
3.Push the line key adjacent to the START TEST indication.
- The IN PROGRESS 60s indication comes into view.
- Then the GAPCU TEST PASSED indication comes into view.

B. Check of the Class 3 Faults of the GAPCU from the CFDS
NOTE: The actions and the results of this procedure occur on the MCDU you use.

2.Push the line key adjacent to the CLASS 3 FAULTS indication.
The EPGS CLASS 3 FAULTS page comes into view.
3.Push the line key adjacent to the GAPCU indication.
The NO FAULT DETECTED indication comes into view.
5. Close-up
Subtask 24-41-00-860-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits supplied from the external power.
