Subtask 24-38-00-710-052-A
A. Operational Test of the BCL (without the CFDS)
   (1) Do this test:
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the ECAM control panel:
  • get the ELEC page.
On the lower ECAM display unit:
  • the usual configuration comes into view,
  • the BAT 1(2) indication is white,
  • the white OFF indication is in view,
  • the amber crosses are in view at the DC BAT busbar indication.
2.On the panel 35VU:
  • push the BAT 1(2) pushbutton switch.
On the panel 35VU:
  • the OFF legend of the BAT 1(2) pushbutton switch goes off.

On the lower ECAM display unit:
  • the green DC BAT busbar indication comes into view,
  • the green line between the BAT 1(2) indication and the DC BAT busbar indication comes into view. The arrow points to the BAT 1(2) indication,
  • the related parameter indications (voltage and current) come into view in green.

After approximately 12 seconds, the green line between the BAT 1(2) indication and the DC BAT busbar indication:
  • goes out of view if the battery charge is correct and it is not necessary to charge the battery.
  • stays in view if it is necessary to charge the battery.
3.On the panel 35VU:
  • release the BAT 1(2) pushbutton switch.
On the panel 35VU:
  • the OFF legend of the BAT 1(2) pushbutton switch comes on.

On the lower ECAM display unit:
  • the green line between the BAT 1(2) indication and the DC BAT busbar indication goes out of view (if it was in view).

NOTE: If the BAT 1 and BAT 2 pushbutton switches are released simultaneously:
  • the white OFF indication comes into view,
  • the amber crosses come into view at the DC BAT busbar indication.
   (2) If necessary, charge the battery (Ref. AMM TASK 24-30-00-040-001).
5. Close-up
Subtask 24-38-00-410-052-A
A. Close Access
   (1) Close the access panel of the BATTERY power center 105VU.
   (2) Close the access door 822.
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
Subtask 24-38-00-860-053-A
B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
