Make sure that the protection modules (overvoltage, undervoltage, overfrequency, underfrequency) of the emergency GCU operate correctly, with the CFDS.

A. Get access to the avionics compartment.
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE at the access doors 812 and 822 of the avionics compartments.
(2) Open the access doors 812 and 822.

(2) Do the procedure to get the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST ELEC page. (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-004).

4. Procedure
Subtask 24-24-00-710-051-A

A. Operational Test of the GCU EMER from the CFDS

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the MCDU, on the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST ELEC page: push the line key adjacent to the GCU EMER indication.	On the MCDU: the GCU EMER page comes into view.
2.On the MCDU, on the GCU EMER page: push the line key adjacent to the TEST indication.	On the MCDU, on the GCU EMER page: the TEST OK message comes into view.
	On the CSM/G GCU: the red LED goes off after 10 seconds.

5. Close-up
Subtask 24-24-00-860-053-A

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
(2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

B. Close Access
(1) Close the access doors 812 and 822.
(2) Remove the access platform(s).
