A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROLS SURFACES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF FLIGHT CONTROLS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) On flaps control panel 114VU:
  • Make sure that the flap/slat control levers is in the 0 position.
  • Make sure that the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS is in position on the flap/slat control levers.
  • Put the WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to operate the flap/slat control levers.

B. Get access to the avionics compartment.
   (1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE at the access doors 812 and 822 of the avionics compartment.
   (2) Open the access doors 812 and 822.

Subtask 24-24-00-710-050-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Operational Test of the Emergency Generation System
  • On the HYD section of panel 50VU, release the LEAK MEASUREMENT VALVES/B pushbutton switch (the OFF legend comes on).
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the EMER ELEC PWR section of panel 21VU:
  • Open the safety guard.
  • Push and hold the EMER GEN TEST pushbutton switch.
On the lower ECAM Display Unit (DU):
  • The "ELEC" page comes into view automatically.
  • The green lines between the AC1 and AC ESS busbars and the DC1 and DC ESS busbars go out of view.
  • The white "EMER GEN" and "ESS TR" indications come into view. The related green parameters come into view.
  • The green lines come into view between
    - The "EMER GEN" indication and the AC ESS busbar
    - The "EMER GEN" indication and the "ESS TR" indication
    - The "ESS TR" indication and the DC ESS busbar.
  • The "SHED" indication comes into view below the AC ESS and DC ESS busbars.
2.On panel 21VU:
  • Release the EMER GEN TEST pushbutton switch.
NOTE: The Blue electric pump stops automatically.
3. If the Blue electric pump does not stop, on the HYD section of panel 50VU, push and release the BLUE PUMP/OVRD pushbutton switch.
4.Make sure that the ON legend of the BLUE PUMP/OVRD pushbutton switch goes off.
5.If the Blue electric pump does not stop, do the troubleshooting procedure of continuous operation of the Blue electric pump TSM 29-12-00-810-810.
On panel 21VU:
  • The safety guard goes back to its initial position.





The Blue electric pump stops.
6.On the ECAM control panel:
  • Push the ELEC key to get access to the "ELEC" page.
NOTE: It is possible that the ESS TR busbar continues to supply the DC ESS busbar.
A.If the ESS TR busbar continues to supply the DC ESS busbar, on AC power center 123VU, open and close circuit breaker 1XC.
B.Make sure that the ESS TR busbar does not supply the DC ESS busbar at this time.
On the lower ECAM DU:
  • The usual configuration comes into view, the emergency AC generator stops and the AC1 busbar supplies the AC ESS busbar.
7.On the ECAM control panel:
  • Push the STS key to get access to the "STATUS" page.
8.If the AIR BLEED maintenance status comes into view below the MAINTENANCE item, do a reset of the two Flight Warning Computers (FWC).
NOTE: After the reset of the two FWCs, they will not keep a record of the indication in the Post Flight Report (PFR) in the next flight.
9.If the AIR BLEED maintenance status does not come into view below the MAINTENANCE item, go to step 4. A. (1).

10.On panel 49VU:
  • Open circuit breaker 3WW.
  • Close circuit breaker 3WW.
A.On panel 121VU:
  • Open circuit breaker 2WW.
  • Close circuit breaker 2WW.
On the "STATUS" page of the lower ECAM DU:
  • The "AIR BLEED" indication goes out of view.
11.If the "AIR BLEED" indication stays in view:
12.On panel 49VU:
  • Open circuit breaker 2HA1 for five to 10 seconds.
  • Close circuit breaker 2HA1.
13.On panel 122VU:
  • Open circuit breaker 2HA2 for five to 10 seconds.
  • Close circuit breaker 2HA2.
On the "STATUS" page of the lower ECAM DU:
  • The "AIR BLEED" indication goes out of view.

A. Operational Test of the Emergency Generation System

2.On panel 21VU:
  • Release the EMER GEN TEST pushbutton switch.
NOTE: The Blue electric pump stops automatically.
3. If the Blue electric pump does not stop, on the HYD section of panel 50VU, push and release the BLUE PUMP/OVRD pushbutton switch.
4.Make sure that the ON legend of the BLUE PUMP/OVRD pushbutton switch goes off.
5.If the Blue electric pump does not stop, do the troubleshooting procedure of continuous operation of the Blue electric pump TSM 29-12-00-810-810.
On panel 21VU:
  • The safety guard goes back to its initial position.





The Blue electric pump stops.
6.On the ECAM control panel:
  • Push the ELEC key to get access to the "ELEC" page.
NOTE: It is possible that the ESS TR busbar continues to supply the DC ESS busbar.
A.If the ESS TR busbar continues to supply the DC ESS busbar, on AC power center 123VU, open and close circuit breaker 1XC.
B.Make sure that the ESS TR busbar does not supply the DC ESS busbar at this time.
On the lower ECAM DU:
  • The usual configuration comes into view, the emergency AC generator stops and the AC1 busbar supplies the AC ESS busbar.
7.On the ECAM control panel:
  • Push the STS key to get access to the "STATUS" page.
8.If the AIR BLEED maintenance status comes into view below the MAINTENANCE item, do a reset of the two Flight Warning Computers (FWC).

  • Close circuit breaker 3WW.
11.On panel 121VU:
  • Open circuit breaker 2WW.
  • Close circuit breaker 2WW.
On the "STATUS" page of the lower ECAM DU:
  • The "AIR BLEED" indication goes out of view.
12.If the "AIR BLEED" indication stays in view:
A.On panel 49VU:
  • Open circuit breaker 2HA1 for five to 10 seconds.
  • Close circuit breaker 2HA1.
B.On panel 122VU:
  • Open circuit breaker 2HA2 for five to 10 seconds.
  • Close circuit breaker 2HA2.
On the "STATUS" page of the lower ECAM DU:
  • The "AIR BLEED" indication goes out of view.
13.Do the ground scanning test of the Bleed Monitoring Computer (BMC) to make sure that there is no failure (Ref. AMM TASK 36-11-00-740-809) (Ref. AMM D/O 36-11-00-74).

5. Close-up
Subtask 24-24-00-860-051-A
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) If the test continues for more than 30 seconds, on panel 22VU, the FAULT legend of the EXTRACT pushbutton switch comes on.
In this case, release then push the EXTRACT pushbutton switch (the FAULT legend goes off).
   (2) On the HYD section of panel 50VU, push the LEAK MEASUREMENT VALVES/B pushbutton switch (the OFF legend goes off).
   (3) Remove the 98D27803500001 LOCKING TOOL ZERO POS of the flap/slat control levers.
   (4) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (5) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
Subtask 24-24-00-410-051-A
B. Close Access
   (1) Close the access doors 812 and 822.
   (2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
