A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the pushbutton switches (ENG MASTER 1(2)) on the pylon panel 115VU (ENG panel).

(2) Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) is in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the pushbutton switches (ENG MASTER 1(2)) on the pylon panel 115VU (ENG panel).
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

C. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access door 811.
(2) Make sure that the access door 811 is open.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access door 811.
(2) Make sure that the access door 811 is open.
Subtask 24-22-34-420-050-A
A. Installation of the GCU
(1) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(2) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(4) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(5) Put the GCU in position in the rack (6).
(6) Carefully push the GCU until it is connected to the rack receptacle (5).
(7) Lift the 2 knurled nuts (1) on the 2 studs (2).
(8) Tighten the 2 knurled nuts (1).
Subtask 24-22-34-865-057-A (1) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Do the operational check of the GPCU with the CFDS (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-740-004).

(2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(3) On the ECAM control panel, push the ELEC key to get the ELEC system page.
(4) On the lower ECAM DU, make sure that there is the green line between the GEN1(2) and AC1(2) indications is shown.
(5) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
(6) Stop engine 1(2) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-814).
5. Close-up(1) Start engine 1(2) (normal automatic start) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-823).
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)

(3) On the ECAM control panel, push the ELEC key to get the ELEC system page.
(4) On the lower ECAM DU, make sure that there is the green line between the GEN1(2) and AC1(2) indications is shown.
(5) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
(6) Stop engine 1(2) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-814).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the access door 811.
(3) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(4) Remove the access platform(s).

B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
