Removal of the AC Current Transformers
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT NO AC OR DC POWER IS CONNECTED TO THE AIRCRAFT ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS.
THERE IS A RISK OF ELECTROCUTION IF THE AC OR DC POWER STAYS CONNECTED.

A. Get Access
(1) Open the cargo-compartment door 825AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the access door 825AR.
(3) In the zone 131, remove the ceiling panels 131AC 131BC 131CC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002).
Subtask 24-22-17-010-058-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Open the cargo-compartment door 825AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the access door 825AR.
(3) In the zone 131, remove the ceiling panels 131AC 131BC 131CC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002).
A. Get Access
(1) Open the cargo-compartment door 825AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the access door 825AR.
(3) In the zone 130, remove the ceiling panels 131MC 131NC 131PC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002).
Subtask 24-22-17-941-053-A (1) Open the cargo-compartment door 825AR (Ref. AMM TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at the access door 825AR.
(3) In the zone 130, remove the ceiling panels 131MC 131NC 131PC (Ref. AMM TASK 25-54-12-000-002).
B. Safety Precautions
(1) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
(2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
(3) In the cockpit, on the ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
(2) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
(3) In the cockpit, on the ELEC panel 35VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
- BAT1, BAT2,
- APU GEN,
- GEN1, GEN2,
- EXT PWR.
- 21VU (EMER ELEC PWR section),
- 25VU (APU section),
- 35VU (ELEC).

A. Removal of the AC Current Transformer
(1) Remove the screws (6).
(2) Remove the cover (7) to get access to the terminal block (5).
(4) Disconnect the electrical connector (11) from the current transformer (10).
(5) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector (11) and electrical receptacle (12).
(6) Remove the screws (8) and the washers (9) from the current transformer (10).
(7) Move the current transformer (10) along the cables to remove it.
(1) Remove the screws (6).
(2) Remove the cover (7) to get access to the terminal block (5).
NOTE: You must identify (also with the indications on the current transformer) and disconnect only the cables which go through the current transformer.
(3) Remove the nuts (1), the washers (2) and the cables (3) and (4) from the studs of the terminal block (5). (4) Disconnect the electrical connector (11) from the current transformer (10).
(5) Put CAP - BLANKING on the disconnected electrical connector (11) and electrical receptacle (12).
(6) Remove the screws (8) and the washers (9) from the current transformer (10).
(7) Move the current transformer (10) along the cables to remove it.
