C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser System for Ground Maintenance
Subtask 24-21-51-010-086-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Make sure that you did the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for ground maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). D. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the thrust-reverser cowl-door are open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

(3) Make sure that the engine protection covers are installed.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the thrust-reverser cowl-door are open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

(3) Make sure that the engine protection covers are installed.
CAUTION:
INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.

A. Installation of the IDG Oil Charge and Scavenge Filter Elements
P03-001 lubricant, aircraft turbine engine to the two new AIPC 24-21-51-51-210 PACKINGS (1) and to the new AIPC 24-21-51-51-190 PACKINGS (4).
(2) Install the two packings (1) on the new AIPC 24-21-51-51-200 FILTER ELEMENTS (2).
(3) Install the two packings (4) on the caps (3).
(4) Install the filter elements (2) on the IDG with the two caps (3).
(5) TORQUE the two caps (3) to between 180 and 156 lbf.in (2.03 and 1.76 m.daN )

(6) Installation of the lockwires
Subtask 24-21-51-612-069-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(1) Apply (2) Install the two packings (1) on the new AIPC 24-21-51-51-200 FILTER ELEMENTS (2).
(3) Install the two packings (4) on the caps (3).
(4) Install the filter elements (2) on the IDG with the two caps (3).
(5) TORQUE the two caps (3) to between 180 and 156 lbf.in (2.03 and 1.76 m.daN )
. (6) Installation of the lockwires
WARNING:
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL LOCKWIRE. EACH TIME YOU CUT LOCKWIRE, REMOVE AND DISCARD IT IMMEDIATELY. LOOSE LOCKWIRE CAN CUT YOU OR MAKE YOU BLIND, AND/OR CAN CAUSE DAMAGE.
(a) Safety the two caps (3) with Lockwire (Material No.P05-289) or Safety Cable (Material No.P05-291) and Safety Cable Ferrule (Material No.P05-292) . B. Replenish or change the IDG oil (Ref. AMM TASK 12-13-24-612-803).
(1) Examine the assembly for unwanted objects, damage and correct assembly.
