B. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the fan cowl doors are open (Ref. AMM TASK 71-13-00-010-802):

(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) is in position.
(3) Make sure that the engine protection covers are installed.

CAUTION:
INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.

Subtask 24-21-42-010-058-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO THE DEACTIVATION OF THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO MAINTENANCE WORK ON OR AROUND THE THRUST REVERSER.
IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS PROCEDURE, THERE IS A RISK OF UNWANTED OPERATION AND THUS OF INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Make sure that you did the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for ground maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). D. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the left thrust reverser cowl-door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the left thrust reverser cowl-door is open (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

A. Installation of the AC Generator Fuel/Oil Differential Pressure-Sensor
P03-001 lubricant, aircraft turbine engine to the new EIPC 24-21-08-01-080 PACKING (2) and EIPC 24-21-08-01-090 PACKING (3).
(2) Install the packings (2) and (3) on the sensor (4).
(3) Install the sensor (4) on the Thermal Management System (TMS) manifold.
(4) Turn the sensor (4) to engage the two bolts (1).
(5) TORQUE the two bolts (1) to between 44 and 38 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.43 m.daN )
. thermocouple (4).
(6) Connect the wiring harness (WC11) electrical connector (P37) to the sensor (J34) as follows:
(a) Examine, align and engage the connector.
(b) Push lightly inward on the connector while you tighten the coupling ring.
(c) Tighten the connector against the receptacle with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(d) Make sure that you can feel the ratchet feature.
(e) While you tighten, push the connector in and from side to side.
(f) Tighten the connector until the pliers slip on the connector ring.
(7) Examine the assembly for unwanted objects, damage and correct assembly.
Subtask 24-21-42-860-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(1) Apply (2) Install the packings (2) and (3) on the sensor (4).
(3) Install the sensor (4) on the Thermal Management System (TMS) manifold.
(4) Turn the sensor (4) to engage the two bolts (1).
(5) TORQUE the two bolts (1) to between 44 and 38 lbf.in (0.50 and 0.43 m.daN )

CAUTION:
REMOVE THE PROTECTION COVERS FROM THE OPENINGS AS NECESSARY TO PREVENT ENGINE DAMAGE.
(a) Remove all the COVER - PROTECTION. (2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

E. Operational Test of the Engine
(1) Do an Idle Power Test (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-720-811).
(2) Make sure that the IDG 1 (2) operates correctly.
(a) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(b) On the ECAM control panel, push the ELEC key to get the ELEC page:
5. Close-up(1) Do an Idle Power Test (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-720-811).
(2) Make sure that the IDG 1 (2) operates correctly.
(a) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(b) On the ECAM control panel, push the ELEC key to get the ELEC page:
- Make sure that the voltage of the IDG is 115VAC
- Make sure that the frequency of the IDG is 400Hz + or - 5Hz.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(2) Make sure that all the circuit breakers shown in the paragraph Procedure of the engine interface unit installation are closed. If they are not, close them in the recommended sequence
