C. Deactivation of the Thrust Reverser System for Ground Maintenance

YOU MUST DEACTIVATE THE THRUST REVERSER BEFORE YOU DO WORK ON OR AROUND IT. IF YOU DO NOT, THE THRUST REVERSER CAN OPERATE ACCIDENTALLY AND CAUSE AN INJURY AND/OR DAMAGE.
(1) Do the deactivation of the thrust reverser system for ground maintenance (Ref. AMM TASK 78-30-00-040-805). D. Get Access
(1) Open the left thrust reverser cowl-door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.

4. Procedure(1) Open the left thrust reverser cowl-door (Ref. AMM TASK 78-36-00-010-802):

(2) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M(3 FT) in position.
(3) Installation of the engine protection covers
CAUTION:
INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(a) Install all the necessary COVER - PROTECTION to prevent damage to the engine. Subtask 24-21-42-020-066-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the AC Generator Fuel/Oil Differential Pressure-Sensor
(2) Place a CONTAINER 20 L (5.3 USGAL) - OIL RESISTANT below the sensor (4) on the Thermal Management System (TMS) manifold.
(3) Disconnect the wiring harness (WC11) connector (P37) from the sensor receptacle (J34) with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(4) Loosen the two bolts (1) on the TMS manifold.
(5) Turn the sensor (4) to disengage it from the two bolts (1) on the TMS manifold.
(6) Remove the sensor (4) from the TMS manifold.
(7) Remove and discard the packings (2) and (3).
(8) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to remove oil leakage.
CAUTION:
WIPE CLEAN ALL PARTS AND TOOLS AS NECESSARY TO REMOVE UNWANTED DEBRIS AND PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
(1) Find the sensor (4) attached to the IDG fuel/heat exchanger at the 9 o'clock position. (2) Place a CONTAINER 20 L (5.3 USGAL) - OIL RESISTANT below the sensor (4) on the Thermal Management System (TMS) manifold.
(3) Disconnect the wiring harness (WC11) connector (P37) from the sensor receptacle (J34) with the PLIERS - JAWED, SOFT.
(4) Loosen the two bolts (1) on the TMS manifold.
(5) Turn the sensor (4) to disengage it from the two bolts (1) on the TMS manifold.
(6) Remove the sensor (4) from the TMS manifold.
(7) Remove and discard the packings (2) and (3).
(8) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) to remove oil leakage.
