B. Printing of the Troubleshooting Data
(1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(2) If available, print the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA page as follows:

(2) If available, print the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA page as follows:
- Get access to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST COM page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-860-003).
- On this page, push the line key adjacent to the CIDS1(2) indication.
- On the CIDS1(2) page, push the line key adjacent to the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA indication to get access to the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA page.
- Print the TROUBLE SHOOTING DATA page.

D. Get Access
(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at zone 128.
(2) Open access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
4. Procedure(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) in position at zone 128.
(2) Open access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
Subtask 23-73-34-020-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the CIDS Director
(a) Loosen the nuts (3).
(b) Lower the nuts (3).
(c) Pull the CIDS director (5) on its rack (2) to disconnect the electrical connectors (1).
(d) Remove the CIDS director (5) from its rack (2).
(e) Put the CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector (1).
(f) If the aircraft will operate with only one CIDS director:
1 On the rack of removed CIDS director 1, make marks on the ventilation holes with no plugs to record their locations.
b If necessary, remove the plugs from ventilation holes 1 and 9.
(2) Removal of CIDS director 2:
(b) Lower the nuts (3) of CIDS directors 1 and 2.
(c) Pull CIDS directors 1 and 2 (5) on their racks (2) to disconnect the electrical connectors (1).
(d) Remove CIDS directors 1 and 2 (5) from their racks (2).
(e) Put the CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector (1) of CIDS director 1 and 2.
NOTE: The removal procedure of CIDS director 1 is different from the removal procedure of CIDS director 2.
(1) Removal of CIDS director 1: (a) Loosen the nuts (3).
(b) Lower the nuts (3).
(c) Pull the CIDS director (5) on its rack (2) to disconnect the electrical connectors (1).
(d) Remove the CIDS director (5) from its rack (2).
(e) Put the CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector (1).
(f) If the aircraft will operate with only one CIDS director:
1 On the rack of removed CIDS director 1, make marks on the ventilation holes with no plugs to record their locations.
NOTE: This is important for the subsequent installation procedure.
a If necessary, install the plugs on the ventilation holes. b If necessary, remove the plugs from ventilation holes 1 and 9.
(2) Removal of CIDS director 2:
NOTE: The removal procedure of CIDS director 1 is different from the removal procedure of CIDS director 2.
(a) Loosen the nuts (3) of CIDS directors 1 and 2. (b) Lower the nuts (3) of CIDS directors 1 and 2.
(c) Pull CIDS directors 1 and 2 (5) on their racks (2) to disconnect the electrical connectors (1).
(d) Remove CIDS directors 1 and 2 (5) from their racks (2).
(e) Put the CAP - BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector (1) of CIDS director 1 and 2.
