A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) For the location of this component, refer to paragraph Component Location
(Ref. AMM D/O 23-73-00-00)
   (3) Make sure that the stepladder is below the related Area Call Panel.

4. Procedure
Subtask 23-73-11-420-050-A
A. Installation of the Area Call Panel (ACP)
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
   (4) Connect the electrical connectors (2) to the ACP (3).
   (5) Install the ACP (3) and make sure that you hear a click when the ACP (3) locks in position.
   (6) Install the lens (4) in the ACP (3).

B. Remove the safety clips and tags and close these circuit breakers in this sequence:

   (2) Do the BITE test of the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-005).

   (1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
   (2) Do the Interface and Power-Up test of the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-005).
