A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).

A. Adjustment of the loudspeaker volume
F Loudspeaker Volume Adjustments ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

NOTE: The adjustment of the loudspeaker volume is described only for the cabin zones. All other locations follow the same procedure.
If the LEVEL ADJUSTMENT page is enabled on FAP:
   (1) On the Flight Attendant Panel (FAP) 120RH, push the LEVEL ADJUST key.
  • the LEVEL ADJUSTMENT page with an activated ENTER ACCESS CODE window shows.
   (2) On the numeric keyboard, enter the access code '318' and push the ENTER key.
  • the ENTER ACCESS CODE window disappears.
   (3) On the LEVEL ADJUSTMENT page, push the related CABIN ZONES - ADJUST key.
  • the VOLUME ADJUSTMENT - CABIN ZONES window shows.
   (4) On the VOLUME ADJUSTMENT - CABIN ZONES window, push the 'Up' or 'Down' key to select the required cabin segment (SEG).
  • the selected cabin SEG is highlighted.
   (5) On the VOLUME ADJUSTMENT - CABIN ZONES window, push the ANNOUNC. VOLUME and/or CHIME VOLUME +/- key to change the volume.
  • the selected loudspeaker volumes are indicated online.

NOTE: Pushing the DEFAULT key sets all adjustments back to the basic volume levels.
   (6) On the LEVEL ADJUSTMENT page, push the CABIN ZONES - ADJUST key.
  • the VOLUME ADJUSTMENT - CABIN ZONES window disappears.

NOTE: If required, select the next location for new volume level settings before saving the data.
   (7) On the LEVEL ADJUSTMENT page, push the SAVE key.
  • a message box with information about the target layout, the date and the new count shows.
   (8) On the message box, push the OK key.
  • the message box disappears.
  • the LEVEL ADJUSTMENT page shows.
   (9) On the FAP, push the CABIN STATUS key.
  • the Cabin Status page shows.
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
