This procedure gives the instructions necessary to make sure that the CABIN READY function shows correctly on the ECAM display.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
   (3) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (4) Do the ENGINE start procedure and set the Engines RPM to IDLE
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-003) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-043) (Ref. AMM D/O 71-00-00-86).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
   (3) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (4) Do the ENGINE start procedure and set the Engines RPM to IDLE.

A. Test
ACTION
RESULT

In the cockpit, on the ECAM upper display:

  • Approximately two min. after engine start on the TAKE OFF (T. O.) page, the message CABIN CHECK shows.
1.On Flight Attendant Panel (FAP), on the CABIN STATUS page:
On the FAP, on the CABIN STATUS page:
  • Push and release the CABIN READY key.
  • The green indicator light of the CABIN READY key comes on.

In the cockpit, on the ECAM upper display:

  • The message CABIN CHECK goes off.

  • The message CABIN READY comes on.

On the FAP, on the CABIN STATUS page:
  • Push and release the CABIN READY key.
  • The green indicator light of the CABIN READY key goes off.

In the cockpit, on the ECAM upper display:

  • The message CABIN READY goes off.

  • The message CABIN CHECK comes on.

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Do the ENGINE shutdown procedure

   (2) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
Subtask 23-73-00-860-131-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Do the ENGINE shutdown procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-018) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-710-028) (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-814) (Ref. AMM D/O 71-00-00-86) .
   (2) Do the EIS stop procedure
