A. Energize the ground service network

4. Procedure
Subtask 23-72-51-820-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Adjustment of the Cameras
   (1) In the cockpit, on the panel 27VU, push the CKPT DOOR VIDEO pushbutton-switch. Make sure that:
  • The OFF legend in the pushbutton-switch goes off.
  • The green LED on the related LCD comes on.
  • The image from camera 1 shows.
   (2) Get a person to stay directly in front of the cockpit door.
   (3) Make sure that the bottom of the image shows the feet of the person, who stays in front of the cockpit door.
   (4) Make sure that the top of the image shows the head of the person, who stays in front of the cockpit door.
   (5) Make sure that the middle of the image shows the area which is 1 m (3.28 ft.) in front of the cockpit door.
   (6) If the image from camera 1 is correct, continue with step (8).
   (7) If the image from camera 1 is not correct do these steps:
     (a) Remove the cover from the camera 1.
     (b) Connect the camera adjustment-tool BTR41914 TOOL-ADJ,CDSS to the camera 1, as follows:
       1 Move the ring on the camera adjustment-tool to the unlock position.
       2 Put the camera adjustment-tool in position on the camera 1.
       3 Move the ring on the camera adjustment-tool to the lock position.
     (c) Slowly turn the camera 1 clockwise or counterclockwise until the image from camera 1 is correct.
NOTE: You can only turn the camera a maximum of 30 degrees, hard-stops on the camera prevent more movement.
     (d) If you cannot adjust the camera correctly replace the camera 1, (Ref. AMM TASK 23-72-51-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-72-51-400-001).
     (e) Disconnect the camera adjustment-tool from the camera 1, as follows:
       1 Move the ring on the camera adjustment-tool to the unlock position.
       2 Remove the camera adjustment-tool from the camera 1 housing.
     (f) Install the cover on the camera 1.
   (8) In the cockpit, on the panel 119VU, push the pushbutton-switch 16RA one time, make sure that:
  • In the cockpit, on the LCD monitor, the images from cameras 2 and 3 show as a split screen.
   (9) Make sure that the image from camera 2 is on the left side of the LCD screen.
   (10) Make sure that the middle of the image shows the area 1.2 m (3.94 ft.) in front of the right door and in the middle of the forward and aft walls.
   (11) Make sure that the image from camera 3 is on the right side of the LCD screen.
   (12) Make sure that the middle of the image shows the area 1.2 m (3.94 ft.) in front of the left door and in the middle of the forward and aft walls.
   (13) If the image from camera 2 or 3 is correct, continue with step (15).
   (14) If the image from camera 2 or 3 is not correct do these steps:
     (a) Remove the cover from the applicable camera.
     (b) Connect the camera adjustment tool to the applicable camera, as follows:
       1 Move the ring on the camera adjustment-tool into the unlock position.
       2 Put the camera adjustment-tool in position on the applicable camera.
       3 Move the ring on the camera adjustment-tool to the lock position.
     (c) Slowly turn the applicable camera clockwise or counterclockwise until the image from the camera is correct.
NOTE: You can only turn the camera a maximum of 30 degrees, hard-stops on the camera prevent more movement.
     (d) If you cannot adjust the camera correctly replace the applicable camera, (Ref. AMM TASK 23-72-51-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-72-51-400-001).
     (e) Disconnect the camera adjustment-tool from the applicable camera, as follows:
       1 Move the ring on the camera adjustment-tool to the unlock position.
       2 Remove the camera adjustment-tool from the applicable camera housing.
     (f) Install the cover on the applicable camera.
   (15) In the cockpit, on the panel 27VU, push the CKPT DOOR VIDEO pushbutton-switch and make sure that:
  • The green LED on the related LCD goes off.
  • The OFF legend in the pushswitch comes on.
Subtask 23-72-51-820-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Adjustment of the Cameras
   (1) On the panel 27VU in the cockpit, push the CKPT DOOR VIDEO pushbutton and make sure that:
  • The OFF legend in the pushbutton goes off.
  • The images from camera 1 are shown.
   (2) Put a person directly in front of the cockpit door.
   (3) Make sure that the bottom of the image shows the feet of the person, who is in front of the cockpit door.
   (4) Make sure that the top of the image shows the head of the person, who is in front of the cockpit door.
   (5) Make sure that the middle of the image shows the area which is 1 m (3.28 ft.) in front of the cockpit door.
   (6) If the images from camera 1 are not correct, do these steps:
     (a) Remove the cover from the camera.
     (b) Connect the camera adjustment-tool 100-2605-01 TOOL-ADJ,CDSS to the camera 1 as follows:
       1 Move the ring on the camera adjustment-tool to the unlock position.
       2 Put the camera adjustment tool in position on the camera 1.
       3 Move the ring on the camera adjustment-tool to the lock position.
     (c) Slowly turn the camera 1 clockwise or counterclockwise until the images from camera 1 are correct.
NOTE: You can only turn the camera a maximum of 30 degrees, hard-stops on the camera prevent more movement.
     (d) If you cannot adjust the image correctly, replace the camera 1, (Ref. AMM TASK 23-72-51-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-72-51-400-001).
     (e) Disconnect the camera adjustment-tool from the camera 1, as follows:
       1 Move the ring on the camera adjustment-tool to the unlock position.
       2 Remove the camera adjustment-tool from the housing of the camera 1.
     (f) Install the cover on the camera 1.
   (7) On the panel 119VU in the cockpit, push the CAM SEL pushbutton 16RA one time and make sure that:
  • The images from cameras 2 and 3 are shown as a split screen on the System Display (SD) in the cockpit.
   (8) Make sure that the images from camera 2 are shown on the right side of the SD.
   (9) Make sure that the middle of the images show the area 1.2 m (3.94 ft.) in front of the right door and in the middle of the forward and aft walls.
   (10) Make sure that the images from camera 3 are shown on the left side of the SD.
   (11) Make sure that the middle of the images show the area 1.2 m (3.94 ft.) in front of the left door and in the middle of the forward and aft walls.
   (12) If the image from camera 2 or 3 is not correct, do these steps:
     (a) Remove the cover from the related camera.
     (b) Connect the camera adjustment tool to the related camera, as follows:
       1 Move the ring on the camera adjustment tool into the unlock position.
       2 Put the camera adjustment tool in position on the related camera.
       3 Move the ring on the camera adjustment tool to the lock position.
     (c) Slowly turn the related camera clockwise or counterclockwise until the image from the camera is correct.
NOTE: You can only turn the camera a maximum of 30 degrees, hard-stops on the camera prevent more movement.
     (d) If you cannot adjust the images correctly, replace the related camera, (Ref. AMM TASK 23-72-51-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-72-51-400-001).
     (e) Disconnect the camera adjustment tool from the related camera, as follows:
       1 Move the ring on the camera adjustment tool to the unlock position.
       2 Remove the camera adjustment tool from the related housing of the related camera.
     (f) Install the cover on the related camera.
   (13) On the panel 27VU in the cockpit, push the CKPT DOOR VIDEO pushbutton and make sure that the OFF legend in the pushbutton comes on.
5. Close-up
Subtask 23-72-51-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
