4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Monitor or Hinge Assembly:

(1) If you want to install the monitor only:

Go to paragraph B.

(2) If you want to install the hinge assembly only:

Go to paragraph C.

B. Installation of the Monitor

Cockpit-Door Surveillance-System Monitor ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(4) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(5) Install the monitor (1) with the screws (3) on the hinge assembly (2).
(6) TORQUE the screws (3) to between 0.339 and 0.282 m.daN (30.00 and 24.96 lbf.in )

C. Installation of the Hinge Assembly:

Hinge Assembly of the Cockpit-Door Surveillance System ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3) Put the hinge assembly (1) in its installation position.
(4) Install the washers (4) and the screws (5) in the mounting plate (3).
(5) Install the washer (6) and the screw (7) in the mounting plate (3).
(6) Tighten the screws (5) and (7).
(7) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(8) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(9) Connect the electrical connector (2).

D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
