A. Removal of the Monitor or the Hinge Assembly:

(1) If you want to remove the monitor only:

Go to paragraph B.

(2) If you want to remove the hinge assembly only:

Go to paragraph C.

B. Removal of the Monitor

Cockpit-Door Surveillance-System Monitor ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Remove the screws (3) from the hinge assembly (2).
(2) Disconnect the monitor (1).
(3) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.

C. Removal of the Hinge Assembly:

Hinge Assembly of the Cockpit-Door Surveillance System ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (2).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the screw (7) and the washer (6) from the mounting plate (3).
(4) Remove the screws (5) and the washers (4) from the mounting plate (3).
(5) Remove the hinge assembly (1).
