Subtask 23-71-35-860-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) For the location of this component refer to the (Ref. AMM D/O 23-71-00-00).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position at zone 312.
(4) Make sure that access door 312AR is open.
(5) Make sure that the CVR is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-71-35-000-001).
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) For the location of this component refer to the (Ref. AMM D/O 23-71-00-00).
(3) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 4M (13 FT)-ADJUSTABLE is in position at zone 312.
(4) Make sure that access door 312AR is open.
(5) Make sure that the CVR is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-71-35-000-001).
Subtask 23-71-35-420-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Cockpit-Voice-Recorder (CVR) Rack
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) For the CVR rack with part number S4416F01:
(a) Prepare for the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(b) Put the CVR rack (19) in its installation position and install the washers (16),the screws (15) and the nuts (17).
(c) Tighten the screws (15).
(d) Complete the bonding procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(e) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(f) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(g) Put the electrical connector (18) in position on the CVR rack (19) and install the screws (12), the washers (13) and the nuts (14).
(h) Tighten the screws (12).
(5) For the other types of the CVR rack:
(a) Prepare for the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(b) Put the bonding straps (7) and the dampers (1) in their installation positions and install the screws (2), the washers (3) and the nuts (4).
(c) Tighten the screws (2).
(d) Put the bonding straps (7) and the CVR Rack (5) in position and install the screws (8).
(e) Complete the bonding procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(f) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(g) Put the electrical connector (6) in position on the CVR Rack (5) and install the screws (9), the washers (10) and the nuts (11).
(h) Tighten the screws (9).
Subtask 23-71-35-420-052-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) For the CVR rack with part number S4416F01:
(a) Prepare for the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(b) Put the CVR rack (19) in its installation position and install the washers (16),the screws (15) and the nuts (17).
(c) Tighten the screws (15).
(d) Complete the bonding procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(e) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(f) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(g) Put the electrical connector (18) in position on the CVR rack (19) and install the screws (12), the washers (13) and the nuts (14).
(h) Tighten the screws (12).
(5) For the other types of the CVR rack:
(a) Prepare for the bonding (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(b) Put the bonding straps (7) and the dampers (1) in their installation positions and install the screws (2), the washers (3) and the nuts (4).
(c) Tighten the screws (2).
(d) Put the bonding straps (7) and the CVR Rack (5) in position and install the screws (8).
(e) Complete the bonding procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(f) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(g) Put the electrical connector (6) in position on the CVR Rack (5) and install the screws (9), the washers (10) and the nuts (11).
(h) Tighten the screws (9).
A. Installation of the CVR Rack
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(5) Put the CVR rack (8) in its installation position and install the washers (5), the screws (4) and the nuts (6).
(6) Tighten the screws (4).
(7) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(8) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(9) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(10) Put the electrical connector (7) in position on the CVR rack (8) and install the screws (1), the washers (2) and the nuts (3).
(11) Tighten the screws (1).
5. Close-up(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(4) Prepare the surface of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(5) Put the CVR rack (8) in its installation position and install the washers (5), the screws (4) and the nuts (6).
(6) Tighten the screws (4).
(7) Do the electrical resistance measurement and the final protection of the bonding point(s)
(Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(8) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(9) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(10) Put the electrical connector (7) in position on the CVR rack (8) and install the screws (1), the washers (2) and the nuts (3).
(11) Tighten the screws (1).
Subtask 23-71-35-410-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Install the CVR (Ref. AMM TASK 23-71-35-400-001).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(3) Close access door 312AR.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
