(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 12M (40 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position below the applicable static discharge retainer.
(2) Make sure that the applicable static discharger is removed (Ref. AMM TASK 23-61-41-000-001).

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) For the static discharger retainers at zone 324 (vertical stabilizer tip):
(a) Prepare the electrical bonding of the static discharger retainer (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(b) Replace the static discharger retainer without removal of the lightning protection strip SRM 553411.
(2) For the static discharger retainers at zone 326 (rudder):
(a) Prepare the electrical bonding of the static discharger retainer (1) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(b) Put the static discharger retainer (1) in the correct position on the aircraft structure.
(c) Drill the holes in the static discharger retainer (1).
1 Make sure that the holes of the retainer and the related holes in the aircraft structure are aligned.
(d) Prepare the electrical bonding of the static discharger retainer (3) (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-803).
(e) Put the static discharger retainer (3) in the correct position on the aircraft structure.
(f) Drill the holes in the static discharger retainers.
1 Make sure that the holes of the retainers and the related holes in the rudder tip are aligned.
(3) For the static discharger retainers at zone 330 (340) (THS):
(a) Put the adapter (9) in the correct position on the aircraft structure.
(b) Drill the holes in the adapter (9).

(d) Drill the holes in the bonding plate (9).

(a) Put the static discharger retainers (10) and (14) in the correct position on the aircraft structure.

(2) Put the retainer (5) in position and install it with the AIPC 23-61-05-03-200 RIVET (4).
(3) Put the retainer (7) in position and install it with the AIPC 23-61-05-03-200 RIVET (6).
(4) Use a clean Textile-Lint free Cotton - (Material No.14SBA1) made moist with Non Aqueous Cleaner-- Methyl Alcohol - (Material No.08BBE1) to remove the unwanted sealant from around the applicable static discharger retainer.
M. Installation of the Static Discharger Retainers at Zone 534 (634) (Sharklet)
(1) Put the retainer (2) in position and install it with the (4 off) AIPC 23-61-05-10-010 RIVETS (1) or AIPC 23-61-85-01-010 RIVETS (1).
(2) Put the retainer (7) in position and install it with:
