A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the panel 115VU:
  • Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
   (2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) has been shutdown for at least 5 minutes.
   (3) On the panel 50VU:
  • Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off.
  • Install a WARNING NOTICE(S).

A. Removal of the Maintenance Interphone Jack

PRE SB RA32071-114

F Air Intake Cowl Interphone Jack ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

   (1) Remove the bolts (11) that hold the access plate (9) to the air intake cowl.
   (2) Pull the access plate (9) and attached interphone jack-assembly from the air intake cowl.
   (3) Remove the screws (10) that hold the mounting plate (6), the shell (4), and the retainer (3) to the access plate (9).
   (4) Remove the access plate (9).
   (5) Remove the nut (8) and the lockwasher (7) that hold the jack (5) to the mounting plate (6).
   (6) Remove the mounting plate (6).
   (7) Remove the coupling nut (1) from behind the shell (4). Move the coupling nut to the rear of the harness assembly until the pressure plates (17) and the gland (2) are shown.
   (8) Pull the jack (5) free from the shell (4).
   (9) Put tags on the electrical connections of the jack (5).
   (10) Remove the screws (16), the washers (15) and the lockwashers (13), and nuts (14) that connect the electrical wires to the jack (5).
   (11) Remove the jack (5) from the wire harness.
   (12) Install COVER - PROTECTION on the interphone jack (5), and isolate wires.

F Air Intake Cowl Interphone Jack ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

   (13) Remove the bolts (11) that hold the access plate (9) to the air intake cowl.
   (14) Pull the access plate (9) and attached interphone jack-assembly from the air intake cowl.
   (15) Remove the screws (10) that hold the mounting plate (30) and the retainer (3) to the access plate (9).
   (16) Remove the access plate (9) and the retainer (3).
   (17) Remove the nut (8) and the lockwasher (7) that hold the jack (35) to the mounting plate (30).
   (18) Remove the mounting plate (30) from the jack (35).
   (19) Install COVER - PROTECTION on the jack (35).
