A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) is below the related access panel.
(3) Make sure that the related ceiling panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
Subtask 23-36-42-865-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) is below the related access panel.
(3) Make sure that the related ceiling panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-000-001).
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

Subtask 23-36-42-420-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Wireless Access Point
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Put the WAP (1) in position and install the washers (3) and the screws (2).
(4) TORQUE the screws (2) to between 0.48 and 0.37 m.daN (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in )

(5) Do the electrical bonding of the grounding point (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(6) Put the cable brackets (9) in position and install the spacer (10), the washers (11), the screws (12) and (13).
(7) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(8) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(9) Install the cap (8).
(10) Put the WAP adapter (5) in position on the receptacle (4) and tighten the screws (6).
(11) Connect the electrical connectors (7) to the WAP (1).
(13) Put the cable (15) in position on the cable brackets (9) and safety it with new TIE WRAP(S) (14).
Subtask 23-36-42-865-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Put the WAP (1) in position and install the washers (3) and the screws (2).
(4) TORQUE the screws (2) to between 0.48 and 0.37 m.daN (42.48 and 32.74 lbf.in )
. (5) Do the electrical bonding of the grounding point (Ref. AMM TASK 20-28-00-912-802).
(6) Put the cable brackets (9) in position and install the spacer (10), the washers (11), the screws (12) and (13).
(7) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(8) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(9) Install the cap (8).
(10) Put the WAP adapter (5) in position on the receptacle (4) and tighten the screws (6).
(11) Connect the electrical connectors (7) to the WAP (1).
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
(12) Apply Adhesive Tape-Electrical Insulation Glass Cloth Silicone - (Material No.05TKC1) to the cable (15). (13) Put the cable (15) in position on the cable brackets (9) and safety it with new TIE WRAP(S) (14).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

A. Close Access
(1) Install the related ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-400-001).
(2) Remove the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 23-36-42-862-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Install the related ceiling panels (Ref. AMM TASK 25-23-41-400-001).
(2) Remove the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT).
(3) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
B. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) De-energize the CIDS (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-862-001).
(2) De-energize the ground service network (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
