(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Open the applicable access door(s) to get access to Video Control Center (VCC) 10MH.

C. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
(2) Push the VCC-MAIN-POWER P/BSW on the VCC 10MH, make sure that the internal light comes on.
(3) Make sure that the integrated In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system boot sequence is complete.

NOTE: A minimum of five minutes can be necessary for this sequence.

(4) As necessary connect a HEADSET - ELECTRICAL to the seat audio jacks.

4. Procedure
Subtask 23-36-00-710-060-J ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Operational Check of the In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) Power Shutdown Function with the VCC MAIN POWER Switch
(1) Do this test.

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the Video Control Center (VCC) 10MH:	On the VCC 10MH:
push the VCC MAIN POWER switch to the ON position.	the internal light of the VCC MAIN POWER switch illuminates
	the system boot sequence starts.

2.On the Control Panel (CP) 11MH, after the system boot sequence is complete:	In the passenger compartment:
make sure that the WELCOME screen/MAIN MENU screen shows
start a video for all zones in the cabin.	all the Hatrack Mounted Display-Units (HMDU) extend
	all the WMDUs and all the HMDUs show the related video.
3.On the VCC 10MH:	On the VCC 10MH:
push the VCC MAIN POWER switch to the OFF position.	the internal light of the VCC MAIN POWER switch goes off.
	In the passenger compartment: all the HMDUs and all the WMDUs go off
	all the HMDUs retract into the hatracks.
4.On the VCC 10MH:	On the VCC 10MH:
push the VCC MAIN POWER switch to the ON position.	the internal light of the VCC MAIN POWER switch illuminates
	the system boot sequence starts again.
5.On the CP 11MH, after the boot sequence is complete:
the WELCOME/MAIN MENU screen shows.
6.On the VCC 10MH:	On the VCC 10MH:
push the VCC MAIN POWER switch to the OFF position.	the internal light of the VCC MAIN POWER switch goes off.

A. Operational Check of the In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) Power Shutdown Function with the VCC MAIN POWER Switch
(1) Do this test.

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the Video Control Center (VCC) 10MH:	On the VCC 10MH:
push the VCC MAIN POWER switch to the ON position.	the internal light of the VCC MAIN POWER switch comes on
	the system boot sequence starts.

2.On the Entertainment Control Panel (CP) 11MH, after the system boot sequence is complete:	In the passenger compartment:
make sure that the WELCOME screen/MAIN MENU screen shows
start a Video passenger announcement/Safety Video.	all the Hatrack Mounted Display-Units (HMDU) extend and show the related selection.
3.On the VCC 10MH:	On the VCC 10MH:
push the VCC MAIN POWER switch to the OFF position.	the internal light of the VCC MAIN POWER switch goes off.
	In the passenger compartment: the HMDUs go off and retract into the hatracks.
4.On the VCC 10MH:	On the VCC 10MH:
push the VCC MAIN POWER switch to the ON position.	the internal light of the VCC MAIN POWER switch illuminates
	the system boot sequence starts again.
5.On the CP 11MH, after the boot sequence is complete:
the WELCOME/MAIN MENU screen shows.
6.On the VCC 10MH:	On the VCC 10MH:
push the VCC MAIN POWER switch to the OFF position.	the internal light of the VCC MAIN POWER switch goes off.

A. Close Access
(1) Close the applicable access door(s) of the VCC 10MH.
(2) As necessary disconnect a HEADSET - ELECTRICAL from the seat audio jacks.

B. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
