Subtask 23-34-00-860-052-F ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
   (2) Do the EIS start procedure (upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) Do the ADIRS Start Procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-002).
   (4) Do the IR Alignment Procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-004).
NOTE: For the alignment procedure, make sure that the correct values for the longitude and latitude of the A/C position are shown.
NOTE: During the alignment procedure, make sure that a point of departure and a destination (airport identification) are put in on the MCDU. The point of departure must be where the A/C location is now.
   (5) Make sure that the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-861-001).
   (6) Make sure that the Passenger Entertainment System (PES) (Video) is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-00-710-001).
   (7) Make sure that the CD-ROM DIU (190MH1) is in the Digital Interface Unit (DIU) (190MH).

A. Test of the Passenger Visual Information System (PVIS)
   (1) Do this test.
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the circuit breaker panel 2000VU:

  • remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
    189MH (C 7), PES/PVIS.
The PVIS energizes.
2.On the PES video System Control Unit (SCU) 11MH:
On the PES video SCU 11MH:
  • push the pushbutton switch MASTER POWER.
  • all LED come on while the SCU 11MH does the self test of the system,
  • the green LED PASS comes on at the end of the self test.

On the SCU 11MH, on the monitor:
  • the AUTO MODE page comes into view.
3.On the SCU 11MH, on the MODE SELECT area:
On the SCU 11MH, on the monitor:
  • push the pushbutton switch again and again until the LED ALL ZONES comes on
  • the ALL ZONES MODE page comes into view,
On the SCU 11MH:

  • push the pushbutton switch MENU again and again until the BCS/AIRSHOW/PRAM page on the monitor,
  • the BCS/AIRSHOW/PRAM page comes into view,
  • push the arrow up or arrow down membrane switches and select the line AIRSHOW,

  • push the ENTER membrane switch,
  • the AIRSHOW MENU comes into view,
  • push the arrow up or arrow down membrane switches and select the line SET DISPLAY MODE,

  • push the ENTER membrane switch,
  • the SET DISPLAY MODE page comes into view,
  • push the arrow up or arrow down membrane switches and select the line TEST resp. AUTO,

  • push the ENTER membrane switch.
  • a new SET DISPLAY MODE page comes into view.
4.On the SCU 11MH:
On the SCU 11MH:
  • push the PREVIEW SELECT switch.
  • monitor the MANUAL CONTROL board of the SCU for the indicators of AUX and PRI to be on and the digital display to show 7.
5.On the SCU 11MH, the MANUAL CONTROL board, ALL ZONES:
On the SCU 11MH, the MANUAL CONTROL board, ALL ZONES:
  • push the SOURCE/SEL switch for selection, if necessary again and again.
  • the AUX and PRI indicators come on and the digital display shows 7.
6.On the SCU 11MH, the MANUAL CONTROL board, ALL ZONES:
On the SCU 11MH, the MANUAL CONTROL board, ALL ZONES:
  • push the ON/OFF/PWR switch.
  • the related LED of the PWR switch comes on.

On the SCU 11MH, on the monitor
  • the airshow information comes into view.

In the cabin:
  • all Hatrack Mounted Display Units 100MH (HMDU) move out of the hatrack.

In the cabin, on all HMDU 100MH
  • the airshow information comes into view.
7.On the circuit breaker panel 2000VU:

  • open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):
    189MH (C 7), PES/PVIS.
  • The PVIS is de-energized.

  • In the cabin:
  • the HMDU 100MH do not show PVIS information.
8.On the SCU 11MH:

  • push the pushbutton switch MASTER POWER
In the cabin:
  • all HMDU 100MH move up into the hatracks.
5. Close-up
Subtask 23-34-00-860-053-C ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
   (1) De-energize the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-862-001).
   (2) Do the ADIRS stop procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 34-10-00-860-005).
   (3) Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-002).
   (4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (5) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
