(1) Remove the main multiplexer 8MK (Ref. AMM TASK 23-33-31-000-001).

A. Adjustment of the DIP-Switch Positions of the Main Multiplexer
(1) Make sure that the DIP-switches are set as given in the table below, adjust them if necessary:

NOTE: The switch 6 of the DIP DSW5 is set to ON to obey the Panasonic TIL T050706-HW recommendations and prevent possible PES audio malfunction.

NOTE: The switches 7 and 8 of the DIP DSW5 control the electronic programming of the MM 8MK.

NOTE: The location of the DIP DSW1 is near the top of the MM 8MK.
The location of the DIP DSW5 is near the bottom of the MM 8MK.
The location of switch 8 of each DIP is near the front of the MM 8MK.

(2) Install the main multiplexer 8MK (Ref. AMM TASK 23-33-31-400-001).
