A. Deactivation of the Data Modulator-Demodulator (Modem) International Mobile-Equipment Identifier, if necessary.
   (1) To do the deactivation of the data-Modem international mobile-equipment identifier of the SDU, speak to the service provider.

B. Removal of the LEO SDU
   (1) Loosen and lower the nut (4).
   (2) Pull the SDU (1) on its rack (3) and disconnect the electrical connectors (2).
   (3) Remove the SDU (1) from its rack (3).
   (4) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
