CAUTION: OBEY THESE PRECAUTIONS TO PREVENT ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD) DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENTS:
  • STAY ON A CONDUCTIVE SURFACE THAT IS ELECTRICALLY GROUNDED.
  • USE A CONDUCTIVE WRIST-STRAP THAT IS ELECTRICALLY GROUNDED. (CONNECTED TO A BONDING-POINT NEAR THE WORK AREA).
  • BEFORE YOU USE THE TOOLS, MOMENTARILY HOLD THEM AGAINST AN ELECTRICAL GROUND TO RELEASE STATIC ELECTRICITY.
A. Removal of the SIM Card from the SDU Configuration Module (SCM)
NOTE: Do not touch the metal contacts of the SIM card.
   (1) Remove and retain the screws (1).
   (2) Remove the SCM cover (2).
   (3) Move the SIM card holder to release the SIM CARD (4).
   (4) Remove the SIM CARD (4) from the SCM (3).
