(1) Upload the SATCOM SDU operational software (Ref. AMM TASK 31-38-00-610-804).

B. Open and close circuit breaker 102RV1 to do a reset of the SATCOM system.

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the MCDU (Main Menu): Push the line key adjacent to the SAT indication.	On the MCDU: The SATCOM MAIN MENU page comes into view.
Push the line key adjacent to the SATCOM STATUS indication.	The SATCOM STATUS page comes into view.
Push the line key adjacent to the CONFIG indication.	The SATCOM CONFIG page comes into view.
On the SATCOM CONFIG page: Make sure that the S/W reference(s) shown is (are) the same as the S/W reference(s) on the disk(s).

E. On the MCDU, on the SATCOM CONFIG page, if the S/W reference(s) is (are) different from the S/W reference(s) shown on the disk(s):
(1) Do the uploading of the SATCOM SDU operational software one more time (Subtask 23-28-00-970-05600).
(2) Do the reset of the SATCOM system (Subtask 23-28-00-865-07800).
(3) Do a check of the identification of the uploaded SATCOM SDU operational software (Subtask 23-28-00-280-05700).

Subtask 23-28-00-280-059-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

F. On the MCDU, on the SATCOM CONFIG page, if the S/W reference(s) is (are) different from the S/W reference(s) shown on the disk(s):
(1) Do the uploading of the SATCOM SDU operational software (Subtask 23-28-00-970-05600) with the previous version of the SATCOM SDU operational software.
(2) Do a reset of the SATCOM system (Subtask 23-28-00-865-07800).
(3) Do the check of the identification of the previous version reference(s) of the uploaded SATCOM SDU operational software (Subtask 23-28-00-280-05700).

NOTE: On the MCDU, on the SATCOM CONFIG page, if the S/W reference(s) is (are) again different from the S/W reference(s) shown on the disk(s), tell the manufacturer of the Satellite Data Unit (SDU) 105RV1.

G. On the MCDU, on the SATCOM CONFIG page, if the S/W reference(s) is (are) the same as the S/W reference(s) shown on the disk(s):
(1) Do the procedure to upload the SATCOM SECURE ORT table (Ref. AMM TASK 23-28-00-600-005).
(2) Then do the procedure to upload the USER ORT part of the SATCOM software (Ref. AMM TASK 23-28-00-600-002).

5. Close-up
Subtask 23-28-00-860-083-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
(2) Fully decrease the brightness of the MCDU screen (display off).
(3) Put the disk(s) in the storage box. Put the storage box in the aircraft cockpit.

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
