(2) Make sure that the aircraft is in the ground configuration.

ACTION	RESULT
1.On the MCDU (Main Menu): Push the line key adjacent to the SAT indication.	On the MCDU: The SATCOM MAIN MENU page comes into view.
Push the line key adjacent to the SATCOM STATUS indication.	The SATCOM STATUS page comes into view.
Push the line key adjacent to the CONFIG indication.	The SATCOM CONFIG page comes into view.
2.Get the SATCOM disk(s) from the storage box.
3.On the SATCOM CONFIG page: If the User ORT reference shown is the same as the one on the disk(s), the uploading operation is not necessary. If dashes are shown or if the User ORT reference shown is not the same as the one on the disk(s), the uploading operation is necessary.

A. Uploading of the USER ORT Part of the SATCOM Software
(1) Upload the USER ORT part of the SATCOM software (Ref. AMM TASK 31-38-00-610-804).

B. Open and close circuit breaker 102RV1 to do a reset of the SATCOM system.

1.On the MCDU (Main Menu):	On the MCDU:
Push the line key adjacent to the SAT indication.	The SATCOM MAIN MENU page comes into view.
Push the line key adjacent to the SATCOM STATUS indication.	The SATCOM STATUS page comes into view.
Push the line key adjacent to the CONFIG indication.	The SATCOM CONFIG page comes into view.
On the SATCOM CONFIG page: Make sure that the User ORT reference(s) shown is (are) the same as the User ORT reference(s) on the disk(s).

5. Close-up
Subtask 23-28-00-860-071-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the MCDU, push the line select key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
(2) Fully decrease the brightness of the MCDU screen (display off).
(3) Put the disk(s) in the storage box. Put the storage box in the aircraft cockpit.

B. De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
