A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
   (2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at access door 824 in zone 128.
   (3) Make sure that access door 824 is open.

4. Procedure
Subtask 23-12-33-420-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the MVDR Transceiver
   (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Remove the CAP - BLANKING from the electrical connectors (1).
   (4) Make sure that the electrical connectors (1) are clean and in the correct condition.
   (5) Install the MVDR transceiver (5) on its rack (2).
   (6) Push the MVDR transceiver (5) on its rack (2) to connect the electrical connectors (1).
   (7) Engage the nuts (3) on the lugs (4) and tighten.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

C. Do a check of the configuration of the MVDR transceiver that you installed and if necessary, upload the MVDR software (Ref. AMM D/O 23-12-00-61).

D. Do the BITE test of the MVDR system (Ref. AMM D/O 23-12-00-74).
NOTE: As an alternative procedure, you can do this operational test without the CFDS (Ref. AMM D/O 23-12-00-71).

E. Do the VHF 3 link test of the Air Traffic Service Unit (ATSU) to do a check for the correct operation of the datalink communication (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-00-710-002).

A. Close Access
   (1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
   (2) Close access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).

B. De-energize the ground service network
