A. Deactivation of the FMGC
   (1) For the deactivation of FMGC1:
     (a) Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):
  • 10CA1.
   (2) For the deactivation of FMGC2:
     (a) Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s):
  • 10CA2.

B. System and Cockpit Effects
   (1) On the SD, on the "STATUS" page:
  • The "F/CTL MAINTENANCE" message comes into view.
5. Close-up

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) Put an applicable placard in position in the cockpit (refer to your standard practices and local regulations).
   (2) Make an entry in the logbook.
   (3) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
   (4) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
