Installation of the RUD TRIM Control Switch

4. Procedure
Subtask 22-62-11-420-050-A

A. Installation of the RUD TRIM Control Switch

RUD TRIM Control Switch

(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Connect each wire of the control switch connector to the rear of the RUD TRIM control switch (12). Refer to the marks made during the removal procedure.
(4) Install the RUD TRIM control switch (12) on the structure of panel 110VU (11).
(5) Make sure that the equipment pin goes into its housing.
(6) Attach the RUD TRIM control switch (12) to the structure of panel 110VU (11) with the nut (13).
(7) TORQUE the nut (13) to between 1 and 0.8 m.daN (88.50 and 70.80 lbf.in )

(8) Put the plate (7) in the correct position on the structure of panel 110VU (11).
(9) Install the screws (1).
(10) Install the knob (2) on the shaft of the RUD TRIM control switch (12).
(11) Lock the knob (2) with the screws (3).
(12) Install the knob (4) (in the OFF position), the pin (6) and the screw (5).

B. Installation of Panel 110VU

RUD TRIM Control Switch

(1) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(2) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Connect the electrical connectors (10).
(4) Install panel 110VU (11) on the support bracket (9).
(5) Lock panel 110VU (11) with the quarter-turn fasteners (8).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Operational Tests
(1) Do the operational test of the rudder trim function for the two rudder trim systems (Ref. AMM TASK 22-62-00-710-001).
(2) If the aircraft operates in the LAND CAT III condition, do the LAND CAT III capability test (Ref. AMM TASK 22-97-00-710-001).
(3) Do the operational test of the parking brake system (Ref. AMM TASK 32-45-00-710-001).

5. Close-up
Subtask 22-62-11-860-050-A

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(2) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
