Removal of the Turbine Bypass Valve
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT AIR IS NOT SUPPLIED TO THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FROM THE MAIN ENGINE, THE APU OR A GROUND SOURCE.
HOT COMPRESSED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
NOTE: The procedure is the same for the bypass valves 10HH and 30HH.

C. Get Access
(1) Remove the access panel (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-000-002).

4. Procedure(1) Remove the access panel (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-000-002).

Subtask 21-61-53-020-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Removal of the Bypass Valve
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (4).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the nut (12), the washer (11), the screw (15) and disconnect the bonding strap (13).
(4) Remove the clamp (16).
(5) Hold the bypass valve (5) and remove the clamps (7) and (9).
(6) Remove the bypass valve (5) together with the pipe assembly (8).
(7) Remove the bypass valve (5) from the pipe assembly (8).
(8) Remove the packings (2), the seal (14) and the packing (10).
(9) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
Subtask 21-61-53-020-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Disconnect the electrical connector (4).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the nut (12), the washer (11), the screw (15) and disconnect the bonding strap (13).
(4) Remove the clamp (16).
(5) Hold the bypass valve (5) and remove the clamps (7) and (9).
(6) Remove the bypass valve (5) together with the pipe assembly (8).
(7) Remove the bypass valve (5) from the pipe assembly (8).
(8) Remove the packings (2), the seal (14) and the packing (10).
(9) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
A. Removal of the Bypass Valve
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (3).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the nut (9), the washer (10), the screw (13) and disconnect the bonding strap (11).
(4) Hold the bypass valve (4) and remove the clamps (6) and (8).
(5) Remove the bypass valve (4) together with the pipe assembly (7).
(6) Remove the bypass valve (4) from the pipe assembly (7).
(7) Remove the packings (2) and the seal (12).
(8) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
(1) Disconnect the electrical connector (3).
(2) Put the CAP-BLANKING on each disconnected electrical connector and receptacle.
(3) Remove the nut (9), the washer (10), the screw (13) and disconnect the bonding strap (11).
(4) Hold the bypass valve (4) and remove the clamps (6) and (8).
(5) Remove the bypass valve (4) together with the pipe assembly (7).
(6) Remove the bypass valve (4) from the pipe assembly (7).
(7) Remove the packings (2) and the seal (12).
(8) Put the PLUG-BLANKING in each disconnected line end.
