Installation of the Solenoid Valve
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT AIR IS NOT SUPPLIED TO THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FROM THE MAIN ENGINE, THE APU OR A GROUND SOURCE.
HOT COMPRESSED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
NOTE: The procedure is the same for the solenoid valves 25HH and 40HH.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the access panel(s) are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-000-002).

A. Installation of the Solenoid Valve
(1) Put the solenoid valve (5) in position and install the screw (4), the washer (6), and the nut (7).
(2) Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(3) Apply a small quantity of Lubricant-Anti Seize High Temp. - (Material No.03PBB1) to the threaded parts of the connectors (2) and (3).
(4) At the solenoid valve (5), install the sense line connectors (2) and (3).
(5) TORQUE the sense line connectors (2) and (3) to between 0.915 and 0.9 m.daN (80.97 and 79.65 lbf.in )

(6) Remove the blanking caps and connect the electrical connector (1).
Subtask 21-61-41-710-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Put the solenoid valve (5) in position and install the screw (4), the washer (6), and the nut (7).
(2) Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(3) Apply a small quantity of Lubricant-Anti Seize High Temp. - (Material No.03PBB1) to the threaded parts of the connectors (2) and (3).
(4) At the solenoid valve (5), install the sense line connectors (2) and (3).
(5) TORQUE the sense line connectors (2) and (3) to between 0.915 and 0.9 m.daN (80.97 and 79.65 lbf.in )
. (6) Remove the blanking caps and connect the electrical connector (1).
B. Leak and Operational Test of the Sense Lines Assembly
(1) Do the pre-conditioning through the HP ground connector or with the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001).
(2) Do a leak check of the sense line connectors (2) and (3) at the solenoid valve (5).
(4) Do the operational test of the pack temperature control system (Ref. AMM TASK 21-61-00-710-001).
5. Close-up(1) Do the pre-conditioning through the HP ground connector or with the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001).
(2) Do a leak check of the sense line connectors (2) and (3) at the solenoid valve (5).
NOTE: Leaks are not permitted.
(3) After approx. 15 minutes stop the pre-conditioning (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 12-33-21-618-001). (4) Do the operational test of the pack temperature control system (Ref. AMM TASK 21-61-00-710-001).

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the access panel(s) (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-002).
