Installation of the Pack Outlet - Temperature Sensors
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT AIR IS NOT SUPPLIED TO THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FROM THE MAIN ENGINE, THE APU OR A GROUND SOURCE.
HOT COMPRESSED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.
NOTE: The procedure is the same for pack outlet temperature sensors 13HH and 34HH

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the access panel/s is/are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-000-002).

A. Installation of the Pack Outlet-Temperature Sensor
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3) Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(4) Apply a small quantity of Mineral Oil base Grease-- Vaseline or Petrolatum - (Material No.03FAB1) to the contact faces of the pack outlet- temperature sensor (1) and to the new packing (3) AIPC 21-61-03-06-020 PACKING (3).
(5) Put the new packing (3) in position on the pack outlet-temperature sensor (1).
(6) Install the pack outlet-temperature sensor (1).
(7) TORQUE the pack outlet-temperature sensor (1) to between 1.0 and 0.8 m.daN (88.50 and 70.80 lbf.in )

(8) Safety the pack outlet-temperature sensor with14QDB1 Wire-Locking Dia: 0.5 mm (0.020 inch) CRES Nickel Alloy - .
(9) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(10) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(11) Connect the electrical connector (2) to the pack outlet-temperature sensor (1).
(12) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
Subtask 21-61-15-420-050-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

(10) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(11) Connect the electrical connector (2) to the pack outlet-temperature sensor (1).
(12) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.

(7) TORQUE the pack outlet-temperature sensor (1) to between 1.0 and 0.5 m.daN (88.50 and 44.25 lbf.in )

(6) Install the pack outlet-temperature sensor (1).
(7) TORQUE the pack outlet-temperature sensor (1) to between 1.0 and 0.5 m.daN (88.50 and 44.25 lbf.in )

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
