Visual Inspection of the Seal of the Plenum Chamber for Disbond
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT AIR IS NOT SUPPLIED TO THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FROM THE MAIN ENGINE, THE APU OR A GROUND SOURCE.
HOT COMPRESSED AIR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONNEL.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

C. Safety Precautions
(1) In the cockpit, on overhead panel 30VU:
(a) Make sure that:
(2) On the HP ground connector, put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to supply the ground air.
Subtask 21-52-00-010-075-A (1) In the cockpit, on overhead panel 30VU:
(a) Make sure that:
- The APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off)
- ENG 1 BLEED and ENG 2 BLEED pushbutton switches are released (the OFF legends are on).
(2) On the HP ground connector, put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to supply the ground air.
D. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable access panel.
(2) Remove the applicable access panel (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-000-002):
(a) FOR [10HM5] (PLENUM CHAMBER)

(3) Remove the applicable ram-air outlet (Ref. AMM TASK 21-61-52-000-003).
4. Procedure(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 1M (3 FT)-ADJUSTABLE in position below the applicable access panel.
(2) Remove the applicable access panel (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-000-002):
(a) FOR [10HM5] (PLENUM CHAMBER)

(3) Remove the applicable ram-air outlet (Ref. AMM TASK 21-61-52-000-003).
Subtask 21-52-00-210-063-A
A. Visual Inspection of the Seal of the Plenum Chamber for Disbond
(1) If necessary, use a FLASHLIGHT to do the visual inspection.
(2) Do a visual inspection of the seal along its circumference for disbond at the plenum chamber outlet.
(3) Make sure that disbond of the seal is not more than one fourth of the total circumference.
1 Remove the plenum chamber (Ref. AMM TASK 21-52-22-000-001).
2 Send the plenum chamber to the workshop to repair the seal.
3 Install a new or serviceable plenum chamber (Ref. AMM TASK 21-52-22-400-001).
(4) Install the ram-air outlet (Ref. AMM TASK 21-61-52-400-003).
Subtask 21-52-00-865-091-A (1) If necessary, use a FLASHLIGHT to do the visual inspection.
(2) Do a visual inspection of the seal along its circumference for disbond at the plenum chamber outlet.
(3) Make sure that disbond of the seal is not more than one fourth of the total circumference.
NOTE: The location of disbond can be in one or more than one position.
NOTE: There is no effect on the performance of the plenum chamber if disbond is less than one fourth of the total circumference.
(a) If disbond is more than one fourth of the total circumference:1 Remove the plenum chamber (Ref. AMM TASK 21-52-22-000-001).
2 Send the plenum chamber to the workshop to repair the seal.
3 Install a new or serviceable plenum chamber (Ref. AMM TASK 21-52-22-400-001).
(4) Install the ram-air outlet (Ref. AMM TASK 21-61-52-400-003).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(2) Install the applicable access panel (Ref. AMM TASK 53-35-13-400-002):

(4) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
