Installation of the Air Outlet Heater
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE FWD AVIONICS ACCESS DOOR 811 IS OPEN WITH A WARNING PLACARD ATTACHED TO IT.
THE WARNING NOTICE MUST TELL PERSONS NOT TO CLOSE THE DOOR. THIS PREVENTS ACCIDENTAL PRESSURIZATION OF THE AIRCRAFT.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access door 811.
(3) Make sure that the access door 811 is open.
(4) Make sure that the sidewall panels are removed as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-000-002):

(a) Make sure that:

(2) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE is in position at the access door 811.

(4) Make sure that the sidewall panels are removed as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-000-002):

(5) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
(a) Make sure that:
- The APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released
- The ENG 1 BLEED and ENG 2 BLEED pushbutton switches are released
- The PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches are released.
(6) On the HP and LP ground connectors:
- Make sure that the WARNING NOTICE(S) to tell persons not to supply the ground source, is in position.
B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

A. Installation of the Air Outlet Heater
(1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Put the air outlet heater (2) in position.
(4) Put the clamp (3) in position.
(5) Install the four screws (7), washers (8) and nuts (9) and tighten.
(6) Install the duct (5) on the air outlet heater (2) and put the clamp (4) in position.
(7) Tighten the clamps (3) and (4).
(8) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(9) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(10) Connect the electrical connector (6).
Subtask 21-41-51-865-055-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Put the air outlet heater (2) in position.
(4) Put the clamp (3) in position.
(5) Install the four screws (7), washers (8) and nuts (9) and tighten.
(6) Install the duct (5) on the air outlet heater (2) and put the clamp (4) in position.
(7) Tighten the clamps (3) and (4).
(8) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
(9) Make sure that all the electrical connections are clean and in the correct condition.
(10) Connect the electrical connector (6).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Install the sidewall panels as necessary (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-400-002):
(a) FOR [3HE] (HEATER-AIR OUTLET, L)

(b) FOR [4HE] (HEATER-AIR OUTLET, R)

(3) Close the access door 811.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) De-energize the ground service network
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
