A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
Subtask 21-41-00-010-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Do the EIS start procedure (lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
B. Get Access
(1) Put an ACCESS PLATFORM 3M (10 FT)- ADJUSTABLE in position at the access door 811.
(2) Open the access door 811.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to close the access door 811.

(2) Open the access door 811.
(3) Put a WARNING NOTICE(S) in position to tell persons not to close the access door 811.

D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Start the APU:
(4) Make sure that all the air outlets in the cockpit are open.
4. Procedure(1) Start the APU:
- For APU APS 3200
(Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-005) - For APU 131-9(A)
(Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-008).
- Push the PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches (OFF and FAULT legends off).
- Make sure that the PACK FLOW selector switch is at NORM.
- Make sure that the COCKPIT, the FWD CABIN and the AFT CABIN temperature selectors are in the 12 o'clock position.
(4) Make sure that all the air outlets in the cockpit are open.
NOTE: To do this test, the cockpit ambient temperature must be between 20 deg.C (68.00 deg.F) and 28 deg.C (82.40 deg.F).

A. Functional Test of the Foot Air-Outlet Heater
(1) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
(5) Measure the blown air temperature at the F/O foot air-outlet.
(7) Set the HEATER CAPT selector switch 5HE to LO.
(8) Measure the blown air temperature at the Captain foot air-outlet.
(10) Measure the blown air temperature at the Captain foot air-outlet.
5. Close-up(1) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
- Set the cockpit blown-air temperature to between 28 deg.C (82.40 deg.F) and 32 deg.C (89.60 deg.F) with the COCKPIT temperature selector 27HK.
NOTE: The temperature is shown on the AIR COND page of the lower ECAM DU.
NOTE: Use a THERMOMETER-SURFACE CONTACT to measure the temperature at the individual air outlet.
(2) When the blown air temperature is stable: - On the AIR COND panel 30VU, set the HEATER F/O selector switch 6HE to LO.
NOTE: The blown-air stable temperature must be between 37.5 deg.C (99.50 deg.F) and 47.5 deg.C (117.50 deg.F).
(4) Set the HEATER F/O selector switch 6HE to HI. (5) Measure the blown air temperature at the F/O foot air-outlet.
NOTE: The blown-air stable temperature must be between 50 deg.C (122.00 deg.F) and 60 deg.C (140.00 deg.F).
(6) Set the HEATER F/O selector switch 6HE to OFF. (7) Set the HEATER CAPT selector switch 5HE to LO.
(8) Measure the blown air temperature at the Captain foot air-outlet.
NOTE: The blown-air stable temperature must be between 37.5 deg.C (99.50 deg.F) and 47.5 deg.C (117.50 deg.F).
(9) Set the HEATER CAPT selector switch 5HE to HI. (10) Measure the blown air temperature at the Captain foot air-outlet.
NOTE: The blown-air stable temperature must be between 50 deg.C (122.00 deg.F) and 60 deg.C (140.00 deg.F).
(11) Set the HEATER CAPT selector switch 5HE to OFF. Subtask 21-41-00-860-052-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
(4) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
Subtask 21-41-00-410-050-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
- Release the PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches (OFF legends on).
- Set the COCKPIT temperature selector to the 12 o'clock position.
- For APU APS 3200

(Ref. AMM TASK 49-00-00-860-009).
(4) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
B. Close Access
(1) Close the access door 811.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
(1) Close the access door 811.
(2) Remove the WARNING NOTICE(S).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
