- on the ECAM lower display unit the CAB PRESS page shows,
- on the AIR COND panel 30VU the PACK 1 and the PACK 2 pushbutton switches are in the OFF position (the FAULT legend is off, the OFF legend is on).
- on the CABIN PRESS section of the panel 25VU the MODE SEL pushbutton switch is in the AUTO position (the FAULT and the MAN legends are off).
NOTE: Make sure there are no persons near the outflow valve before you start this test.

MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE OUTFLOW VALVES ARE CLEAR. MOVEMENT OF THE OUTFLOW VALVES CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
A. Operational Test of the Outflow Valve (50 deg.) partial opening by the Emergency Ram Air Switch NOTE: Make sure that the area around the emergency ram air-flap is free from ground equipment and personnel.
