WARNING:
PUT ON GLOVES, A COVERALL WITH A HOOD, GOGGLES AND A PARTICULATE RESPIRATOR BEFORE YOU TOUCH THE FILTER. THE FILTER REMOVES SMALL PARTICLES (SMOKE, DUST, LINT, FIBERS, POLLEN) AND INFECTIOUS MATERIALS (BACTERIA, VIRUSES, MOLD SPORES, FUNGI) FROM THE AIR. THESE MATERIALS CAN CAUSE ILLNESS.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are de-energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-862-002).
(2) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) open, safetied and tagged:

C. Get Access
(1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position below the avionics-compartment aft door 824.
(2) Make sure that the access door is open 824.

D. Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

4. ProcedureSubtask 21-26-43-420-084-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Installation of the Filter Assembly
(1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(2) Install the filter body (4) with a new AIPC 21-26-01-03-365 SEAL (11) on the blowing duct (6).
(3) Install the screws (2) and the nuts (5). Do not fully tighten at this time.
(4) Install the screws (10) and the nuts (7) with the equipped flange (12) and tighten.
(5) Tighten the screws (2).
(6) Install the drain hose (8).
(7) Install the clamp (9) and tighten.
(8) Install the flexible sleeve (14).
(9) Install and tighten the clamps (1).
(10) Make sure that the attachments (3) are correctly tightened.
(11) Release each of the four fasteners, open the door and install the filter cartridge (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-43-600-019).
(12) Install the demister filter (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-43-600-018).
5. Close-up(1) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
(2) Install the filter body (4) with a new AIPC 21-26-01-03-365 SEAL (11) on the blowing duct (6).
(3) Install the screws (2) and the nuts (5). Do not fully tighten at this time.
(4) Install the screws (10) and the nuts (7) with the equipped flange (12) and tighten.
(5) Tighten the screws (2).
(6) Install the drain hose (8).
(7) Install the clamp (9) and tighten.
(8) Install the flexible sleeve (14).
(9) Install and tighten the clamps (1).
(10) Make sure that the attachments (3) are correctly tightened.
(11) Release each of the four fasteners, open the door and install the filter cartridge (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-43-600-019).
(12) Install the demister filter (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-43-600-018).
Subtask 21-26-43-410-091-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
A. Close Access
(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tools and other items.
(2) Close the access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).

(2) Close the access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-410-002).
(3) Remove the access platform(s).
B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
