Inspection/Check of the Honeycomb Grids
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU USE CONSUMABLE MATERIALS. OBEY THE MATERIAL MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND YOUR LOCAL REGULATIONS.
1. Reason for the JobTo remove the contamination and the clogging from the honeycomb grids to prevent deterioration of the ventilation performance in the avionics equipment ventilation system.

A. Removal of the Ducts
(1) Remove the applicable duct(s):
(a) Remove the duct(s) (1) and/or (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-42-200-002).
(b) Remove the duct(s) (3) and/or (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-42-200-001).
(c) Remove the duct (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-42-000-002).
4. Procedure(1) Remove the applicable duct(s):
(a) Remove the duct(s) (1) and/or (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-42-200-002).
(b) Remove the duct(s) (3) and/or (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-42-200-001).
(c) Remove the duct (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-42-000-002).
Subtask 21-26-42-210-066-A
A. Inspection of the Honeycomb Grids
(1) Make sure that the honeycomb grids (6) are in the correct condition.
(2) If the honeycomb grids (6) are not in the correct condition:
(a) Remove dust and sand from the honeycomb grids (6) with a VACUUM CLEANER.
(b) Clean the honeycomb grids (6) with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(c) If necessary, replace the honeycomb grids (6) (refer to Duct and Fuel Pipe Repair Manual (DFPRM), task 51-12-00-350-838-A01).
(3) Make sure that the ducts are in the correct condition.
(4) If the ducts are not in the correct condition:
(a) Clean the ducts (refer to DFPRM, task 51-12-00-100-801-A01).
(b) If necessary, replace the ducts with the new AIPC 21-26-01-18-130 DUCT (1), new AIPC 21-26-01-18-110 DUCT (2), new AIPC 21-26-01-18-125 DUCT (3), new AIPC 21-26-01-18-150 DUCT (4) and new AIPC 21-26-01-14-220 DUCT (5), and then go to para 5.A.
5. Close-up(1) Make sure that the honeycomb grids (6) are in the correct condition.
(2) If the honeycomb grids (6) are not in the correct condition:
(a) Remove dust and sand from the honeycomb grids (6) with a VACUUM CLEANER.
(b) Clean the honeycomb grids (6) with Non Aqueous Cleaner-General - - (Material No.08BAA9) .
(c) If necessary, replace the honeycomb grids (6) (refer to Duct and Fuel Pipe Repair Manual (DFPRM), task 51-12-00-350-838-A01).
(3) Make sure that the ducts are in the correct condition.
(4) If the ducts are not in the correct condition:
(a) Clean the ducts (refer to DFPRM, task 51-12-00-100-801-A01).
(b) If necessary, replace the ducts with the new AIPC 21-26-01-18-130 DUCT (1), new AIPC 21-26-01-18-110 DUCT (2), new AIPC 21-26-01-18-125 DUCT (3), new AIPC 21-26-01-18-150 DUCT (4) and new AIPC 21-26-01-14-220 DUCT (5), and then go to para 5.A.

A. Installation of the Ducts
(1) If you removed the related duct(s), install it (them):
(a) Install the duct(s) (1) and/or (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-42-200-002).
(b) Install the duct(s) (3) and/or (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-42-200-001).
(c) Install the duct (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-42-400-002).
(1) If you removed the related duct(s), install it (them):
(a) Install the duct(s) (1) and/or (2) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-42-200-002).
(b) Install the duct(s) (3) and/or (4) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-42-200-001).
(c) Install the duct (5) (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-42-400-002).
