   (1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).

B. Get Access
   (1) Make sure that the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE is in position at access doors 811 and 824.
   (2) Make sure that the access doors that follow are open:
     (a) FOR [17HQ] (PRESS SW-BLOWER FAN, AVNCS VENT)
811 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
     (b) FOR [19HQ] (PRESS SW-BLOWER FAN, AVNCS VENT)
824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).
     (c) FOR [30HQ] (PRESS SW-EXTRACT FAN, AVNCS VENT)

4. Procedure
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE PIPE POSITION AT THE PRESSURE SWITCHES IS CORRECT. FOR PRESSURE SWITCHES 17HQ AND 19HQ, THE PIPE MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE CENTER OF THE PRESSURE SWITCH. FOR PRESSURE SWITCH 30HQ, THE PIPE MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE PERIPHERAL PORT. IF THE POSITION OF THE PIPE IS NOT CORRECT, FAILURE CAN OCCUR.

A. Installation of the Avionics-Ventilation Blower-Fan Pressure-Switch
   (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
   (2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Do a visual inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (4) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (5) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
   (6) Install the new AIPC 21-26-01-04-080 ORING (5) or AIPC 21-26-81-04-060 ORING (5) in position on the reducer (6).
   (7) Install the reducer on the avionics-ventilation blower-fan pressure-switch (2).
   (8) TORQUE the reducer (6) to between 4.0 and 3.6 m.N (35.40 and 31.86 lbf.in )
T.
   (9) Install the blanking cap (8) on the reducer (6).
   (10) TORQUE the blanking cap (8) to between 4.0 and 3.6 m.N (35.40 and 31.86 lbf.in )
T.
   (11) Install the avionics-ventilation blower-fan pressure-switch (2) in position on its support and hold it in position.
   (12) Install the washers (3) and the screws (4).
   (13) Tighten the screws (4).
   (14) Connect the pipe (7).
   (15) TORQUE the pipe (7) to between 2.5 and 2.1 m.N (22.12 and 18.58 lbf.in )
T.
   (16) Connect the electrical connector (1) as follows:
     (a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
     (b) Connect the electrical connector (1) to the avionics-ventilation blower-fan pressure-switch (2).

B. Installation of the Avionics-Ventilation Extract-Fan Pressure-Switch
   (1) When you connect/install the components, refer to the match marks made during the removal procedure.
   (2) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (3) Do a visual inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
   (4) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
   (5) Remove the PLUG-BLANKING from each disconnected line end.
   (6) Install the new
AIPC 21-26-01-16-035 ORING (2) or AIPC 21-26-81-16-050 ORING (2) in position on the reducer (3).
   (7) Install the reducer (3).
   (8) TORQUE the reducer (3) to between 4.0 and 3.6 m.N (35.40 and 31.86 lbf.in )
T.
   (9) Install the blanking cap (5) on the avionics-ventilation extract-fan pressure-switch (8).
   (10) TORQUE the blanking cap (5) to between 2.5 and 2.1 m.N (22.12 and 18.58 lbf.in )
T.
   (11) Install the avionics-ventilation extract-fan pressure-switch (8) in position on its support (1) and hold it in position.
   (12) Install the washers (7) and the screws (6).
   (13) Tighten the screws (6).
   (14) Connect the pipe (4) to the reducer (3).
   (15) TORQUE the pipe (4) to between 4.0 and 3.6 m.N (35.40 and 31.86 lbf.in )
T.
   (16) Connect the electrical connector (9) as follows:
     (a) Remove the CAP-BLANKING from each electrical connector and receptacle.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THAT THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS ARE CLEAN BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT OR CONNECT THEM. CONTAMINATION ON THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
     (b) Connect the electrical connector (9) to the avionics-ventilation extract-fan pressure-switch (8).

D. Do an operational test of the ventilation system of the avionics equipment (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-00-710-001).
NOTE: As an alternative procedure , you can do this operational test without the CFDS for the extract fan pressure switch (30HQ) only (Ref. AMM TASK 21-26-11-710-001) (the CFDS is necessary for the operational test of the blower fan pressures switches 17HQ and 19HQ).

     (c) FOR [30HQ] (PRESS SW-EXTRACT FAN, AVNCS VENT)
   (3) Remove the access platform(s).
