F. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
   (1) On the VENTILATION section of panel 22VU:
  • Make sure that the BLOWER and EXTRACT pushbutton switches are in the AUTO configuration (the pusbutton switches are pushed and the FAULT and the OVRD legends are off).
   (2) Do the Electronic Instrument System (EIS) start procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
   (3) On the ECAM control panel, push the PRESS pushbutton key.
   (4) On the lower ECAM display unit:
  • The CAB PRESS page comes into view and shows the skin air-inlet (INLET) and the skin air-outlet (OUTLET) valves in the open position (if the outside air temperature is more than or equal to 12 DEG.C (53.6 DEG.F)).
NOTE: If the outside air temperature is less than 9 DEG.C (48.2 DEG.F), the skin air-inlet and the skin air-outlet valves are closed.
NOTE: If the avionics duct temperature is less than 40 DEG.C (104 DEG.F), the skin air-inlet and the skin air-outlet valves are closed.

Subtask 21-26-00-710-053-C
A. Operational Test of the Control Circuit of the Ditching Configuration
NOTE: You cannot do the operational test of the control circuit of the ditching configuration:
  • If the external air temperature is less than 9 DEG.C (48.2 DEG.F), the skin air-inlet and the skin air-outlet valves are closed.
  • If the avionics duct temperature is less than 40 DEG.C (104 DEG.F), the skin air-inlet and the skin air-outlet valves are closed.
ACTION
RESULT
1.On the CABIN PRESS section of panel 25VU:
  • Push the DITCHING pushbutton switch.
On the DITCHING pushbutton switch:
  • The ON legend comes on.
On the PRESS page of the lower ECAM DU:
  • The skin air-outlet valve closes.
  • The skin-air inlet valve closes.
NOTE: If the VENT AVNCS SYS FAULT ECAM warning comes into view on the upper ECAM DU, open and close circuit breaker 3HQ. If the warning goes out of view, no more procedure is necessary.
If the warning stays in view, do the troubleshooting procedure TSM 21.
2.On the CABIN PRESS section of panel 25VU:
  • Release the DITCHING pushbutton switch.
On the DITCHING pushbutton switch:
  • The ON legend goes off.
On the PRESS page of the lower ECAM DU:
  • The skin air-outlet valve opens fully.
  • The skin air-inlet valve opens fully.
