(1) Put the ACCESS PLATFORM 2M (6 FT) - ADJUSTABLE in position at access door 824.
(2) Open access door 824 (Ref. AMM TASK 52-41-00-010-002).

4. Procedure

A. In the avionics compartment, make sure that extract fan 18HQ operates correctly:
(1) Do the test that follows:

ACTION	RESULT
On circuit breaker panel 122VU: Open circuit breaker 3HQ.	On the upper ECAM display unit: After approximately 15 seconds, the VENT AVNCS SYS FAULT warning comes into view.
Close circuit breaker 3HQ.	The VENT AVNCS SYS FAULT warning goes out of view. The self-test of the extract fan starts and continues to operate for approximately 60 seconds. You hear the extract fan operate.
