A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the ground service network is energized
(Ref. AMM TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2) Make sure that the applicable panels are removed (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-000-001) or (Ref. AMM TASK 25-13-41-000-002).

A. Preparation for Installation
(1) Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interfaces and the adjacent area.
(3) Clean the component interfaces and the adjacent area.

B. Installation of the Air-Outlet Distribution Valves
(1) Installation of the air-outlet distribution valve (9):
(a) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-Solvant Resistant One part - (Material No.06CDD1) on the hose end fitting (1).
(b) Put the new AIPC 21-21-01-01-105 SEAL (4)AIPC 21-21-81-01-177 SEAL (4) in position on the hose end fitting (1).
(c) Put the valve (9) in position on the hose end fitting (1).
(d) Install the washers (3), the screws (2) and the nuts (10). Tighten the nuts (10).
(e) Put the clamp (11) in position on the silencer (12).
(f) Put the silencer (12) in position on the valve (9) and tighten the clamp (11).
(g) Install the axle (13) on the valve (9).
(h) Install the washer (5) and the cable (8) on the axle (13).
(i) Install the washer (6) and the nut (7) on the axle (13). Tighten the nut (7).
(j) Put the clamp (70) in position on the cable (8).
(k) Install the washer (69), the screw (68) and the nut (71) and tighten the nut (71).
(2) Installation of the air-outlet distribution valve (21):
(a) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-Solvant Resistant One part - (Material No.06CDD1) on the hose end fitting (14).
(b) Put the new AIPC 21-21-01-02-135 SEAL (16)AIPC 21-21-81-02-130 SEAL (16) in position on the hose end fitting (14).
(c) Put the valve (21) in position on the hose end fitting (14).
(d) Install the washers (22), the screws (23) and the nuts (15). Tighten the nuts (15).
(e) Put the clamps (24) and the sleeve (25) in positions on the silencer (26).
(f) Put the silencer (26) in position on the valve (21) and tighten the clamps (24).
(g) Install the axle (27) on the valve (21).
(h) Install the washer (17) and the cable (20) on the axle (27).
(i) Install the washer (18) and the nut (19) on the axle (27). Tighten the nut (19).
(j) Put the clamp (70) in position on the cable (20).
(k) Install the washer (69), the screw (68) and the nut (71) and tighten the nut (71).
(3) Installation of the air-outlet distribution valve (40):
(a) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-Solvant Resistant One part - (Material No.06CDD1) on the hose end fitting (37).
(b) Put the new AIPC 21-21-01-03-140 SEAL (36)AIPC 21-21-81-03-050 SEAL (36) in position on the hose end fitting (37).
(c) Put the valve (40) in position on the hose end fitting (37).
(d) Install the screws (30), the washers (31), the flanges (38) and the nuts (39). Tighten the nuts (39).
(e) Put the clamp (29) in position on the silencer (28).
(f) Put the silencer (28) in position on the valve (40) and tighten the clamp (29).
(g) Install the axle (41) on the valve (40).
(h) Install the washer (35) and the cable (32) on the axle (41).
(i) Install the washer (34) and the nut (33) on the axle (41). Tighten the nut (33).
(j) Put the clamp (70) in position on the cable (32).
(k) Install the washer (69), the screw (68) and the nut (71) and tighten the nut (71).
(4) If applicable, install the air-outlet distribution valve (48):
(a) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-Solvant Resistant One part - (Material No.06CDD1) on the hose end fitting (42).
(b) Put the new AIPC 21-21-01-01-087 SEAL (43)AIPC 21-21-81-01-246 SEAL (43) in position on the hose end fitting (42).
(c) Put the valve (48) in position on the hose end fitting (42).
(d) Install the washers (53), the screws (54) and the nuts (51). Tighten the nuts (51).
(e) Put the clamp (49) in position on the silencer (50).
(f) Put the silencer (50) in position on the valve (48) and tighten the clamp (49).
(g) Install the axle (52) on the valve (48).
(h) Install the washer (44) and the cable (47) on the axle (52).
(i) Install the washer (45) and the nut (46) on the axle (52). Tighten the nut (46).
(j) Put the clamp (70) in position on the cable (47).
(k) Install the washer (69), the screw (68) and the nut (71) and tighten the nut (71).
(5) Installation of the air-outlet distribution valve (64):
(a) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-Solvant Resistant One part - (Material No.06CDD1) on the hose end fitting (62).
(b) Put the new AIPC 21-21-01-02-205 SEAL (61)AIPC 21-21-81-02-390 SEAL (61) in position on the hose end fitting (62).
(c) Put the valve (64) in position on the hose end fitting (62).
(d) Install the washers (66), the screws (67) and the nuts (63). Tighten the nuts (63).
(e) Put the clamp (56) in position on the silencer (55).
(f) Put the silencer (55) in position on the valve (64) and tighten the clamp (56).
(g) Install the axle (65) on the valve (64).
(h) Install the washer (58) and the cable (57) on the axle (65).
(i) Install the washer (59) and the nut (60) on the axle (65). Tighten the nut (60).
(j) Put the clamp (70) in position on the cable (57).
(k) Install the washer (69), the screw (68) and the nut (71) and tighten the nut (71).
5. Close-up(1) Installation of the air-outlet distribution valve (9):
(a) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-Solvant Resistant One part - (Material No.06CDD1) on the hose end fitting (1).
(b) Put the new AIPC 21-21-01-01-105 SEAL (4)AIPC 21-21-81-01-177 SEAL (4) in position on the hose end fitting (1).
(c) Put the valve (9) in position on the hose end fitting (1).
(d) Install the washers (3), the screws (2) and the nuts (10). Tighten the nuts (10).
(e) Put the clamp (11) in position on the silencer (12).
(f) Put the silencer (12) in position on the valve (9) and tighten the clamp (11).
(g) Install the axle (13) on the valve (9).
(h) Install the washer (5) and the cable (8) on the axle (13).
(i) Install the washer (6) and the nut (7) on the axle (13). Tighten the nut (7).
(j) Put the clamp (70) in position on the cable (8).
(k) Install the washer (69), the screw (68) and the nut (71) and tighten the nut (71).
(2) Installation of the air-outlet distribution valve (21):
(a) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-Solvant Resistant One part - (Material No.06CDD1) on the hose end fitting (14).
(b) Put the new AIPC 21-21-01-02-135 SEAL (16)AIPC 21-21-81-02-130 SEAL (16) in position on the hose end fitting (14).
(c) Put the valve (21) in position on the hose end fitting (14).
(d) Install the washers (22), the screws (23) and the nuts (15). Tighten the nuts (15).
(e) Put the clamps (24) and the sleeve (25) in positions on the silencer (26).
(f) Put the silencer (26) in position on the valve (21) and tighten the clamps (24).
(g) Install the axle (27) on the valve (21).
(h) Install the washer (17) and the cable (20) on the axle (27).
(i) Install the washer (18) and the nut (19) on the axle (27). Tighten the nut (19).
(j) Put the clamp (70) in position on the cable (20).
(k) Install the washer (69), the screw (68) and the nut (71) and tighten the nut (71).
(3) Installation of the air-outlet distribution valve (40):
(a) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-Solvant Resistant One part - (Material No.06CDD1) on the hose end fitting (37).
(b) Put the new AIPC 21-21-01-03-140 SEAL (36)AIPC 21-21-81-03-050 SEAL (36) in position on the hose end fitting (37).
(c) Put the valve (40) in position on the hose end fitting (37).
(d) Install the screws (30), the washers (31), the flanges (38) and the nuts (39). Tighten the nuts (39).
(e) Put the clamp (29) in position on the silencer (28).
(f) Put the silencer (28) in position on the valve (40) and tighten the clamp (29).
(g) Install the axle (41) on the valve (40).
(h) Install the washer (35) and the cable (32) on the axle (41).
(i) Install the washer (34) and the nut (33) on the axle (41). Tighten the nut (33).
(j) Put the clamp (70) in position on the cable (32).
(k) Install the washer (69), the screw (68) and the nut (71) and tighten the nut (71).
(4) If applicable, install the air-outlet distribution valve (48):
(a) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-Solvant Resistant One part - (Material No.06CDD1) on the hose end fitting (42).
(b) Put the new AIPC 21-21-01-01-087 SEAL (43)AIPC 21-21-81-01-246 SEAL (43) in position on the hose end fitting (42).
(c) Put the valve (48) in position on the hose end fitting (42).
(d) Install the washers (53), the screws (54) and the nuts (51). Tighten the nuts (51).
(e) Put the clamp (49) in position on the silencer (50).
(f) Put the silencer (50) in position on the valve (48) and tighten the clamp (49).
(g) Install the axle (52) on the valve (48).
(h) Install the washer (44) and the cable (47) on the axle (52).
(i) Install the washer (45) and the nut (46) on the axle (52). Tighten the nut (46).
(j) Put the clamp (70) in position on the cable (47).
(k) Install the washer (69), the screw (68) and the nut (71) and tighten the nut (71).
(5) Installation of the air-outlet distribution valve (64):
(a) Apply Silicone Adhesive Sealant-Solvant Resistant One part - (Material No.06CDD1) on the hose end fitting (62).
(b) Put the new AIPC 21-21-01-02-205 SEAL (61)AIPC 21-21-81-02-390 SEAL (61) in position on the hose end fitting (62).
(c) Put the valve (64) in position on the hose end fitting (62).
(d) Install the washers (66), the screws (67) and the nuts (63). Tighten the nuts (63).
(e) Put the clamp (56) in position on the silencer (55).
(f) Put the silencer (55) in position on the valve (64) and tighten the clamp (56).
(g) Install the axle (65) on the valve (64).
(h) Install the washer (58) and the cable (57) on the axle (65).
(i) Install the washer (59) and the nut (60) on the axle (65). Tighten the nut (60).
(j) Put the clamp (70) in position on the cable (57).
(k) Install the washer (69), the screw (68) and the nut (71) and tighten the nut (71).

A. Operational Test
(1) Push the control knob of the valve up and down two or three times to open and close the valve. Make sure that the valve operates correctly.
