Replacement of the Hydraulic Fluid in the Blue Hydraulic System because of an Increased Level of Acidity when a Ground Cart is not Available
WARNING:
OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.
WORK ON THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS CAN BE DANGEROUS.
WARNING:
DO NOT GET HYDRAULIC FLUID ON YOUR SKIN, IN YOUR EYES OR IN YOUR MOUTH. HYDRAULIC FLUID IS POISONOUS AND CAN GO THROUGH YOUR SKIN AND INTO YOUR BODY. FLUSH HYDRAULIC FLUID FROM YOUR EYES, MOUTH OR SKIN WITH WATER. GET MEDICAL AID IF YOU GET HYDRAULIC FLUID IN YOUR EYES OR MOUTH.
WARNING:
MAKE SURE THAT THE SAFETY DEVICES AND THE WARNING NOTICES ARE IN POSITION BEFORE YOU START A TASK ON OR NEAR:
1. Reason for the Job- THE FLIGHT CONTROLS
- THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES
- THE LANDING GEAR AND RELATED DOORS
- COMPONENTS THAT MOVE.
This is an alternative procedure for the hydraulic fluid replacement in the Blue Hydraulic System. This procedure must be used when the value of the hydraulic fluid acidity is between 1.5 and 3.5 mg KOH/g and when the Ground Cart is not available.
