Subtask 12-31-10-660-053-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL
(a) Move the CAPT (F/O) side stick from stop to stop in pitch. On the lower ECAM display unit, on the FLT CTL page, make sure that the elevators move.
(b) Move the CAPT (F/O) side stick from stop to stop in roll. On the lower ECAM display unit, on the FLT CTL page, make sure that the ailerons move and that the spoilers (2, 3, 4, 5) extend.
(c) On the nosewheel steering handwheel, push the pedal disconnection pushbutton and push the rudder pedals from right stop to left stop. On the lower ECAM display unit, on the FLT CTL page, make sure that the rudder moves.
(5) On the overhead panel 24VU:

(12) On the overhead panel 23VU, release and push the FLT CTL/ELAC 1 pushbutton switch to do a reset of the pitch trim.
(13) On the nosewheel steering handwheel, push the pedal disconnection pushbutton and move the rudder trim from 5 degrees to -5 degrees. On the center pedestal, on the panel 408VU, push the RUD TRIM/RESET pushbutton switch to set the rudder to neutral.
(14) On the center pedestal, move the speedbrake control lever from the 0 position to the 1/2 position. Move the speedbrake control lever from the 1/2 position to the FULL position, then back to the 0 position.
(16) Operate again the side stick in pitch and roll at full speed:
(a) Move the CAPT (F/O) side stick from stop to stop in pitch for 2 minutes. On the lower ECAM display unit, on the FLT CTL page, make sure that the elevators move.
(b) Move the CAPT (F/O) side stick from stop to stop in roll for 2 minutes. On the lower ECAM display unit, on the FLT CTL page, make sure that the ailerons move and that the spoilers (2, 3, 4, 5) extend.
(18) On the center pedestal, set the slat and flap control lever to positions FULL, 3, 2, 1+F and 0. Stop at each notch until the flaps stop at each position selected.
(19) Do the operational test of the Green and Yellow yaw dampers (Ref. AMM TASK 22-63-00-710-001).
(20) Do the operational test of the travel limitation unit (Ref. AMM TASK 22-61-00-710-001).
(21) Make sure that the FLT CLT/ELAC 1, FLT CTL/ ELAC2, FLT CTL/SEC 1, FLT CTL/SEC2, FLT CTL/SEC 3, FAC 1 and FAC 2 pushbutton switches are pushed (the OFF and FAULT legends of these pushbutton switches are off).
(22) Do a BITE test of the Electrical Flight Control System (EFCS) (Ground Scanning) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-96-00-740-001) and make sure that there is no warning.

1. Reason for the Job
This procedure gives additional maintenance and aircraft protection recommendations for aircraft turnaround when:
- OAT is between -40 DEG.C (-40 DEG.F) and -46 DEG.C (-50.8 DEG.F)
- The aircraft is not in cold soak (i.e. electrical power and air conditioning available).
Do this procedure if the aircraft stays overnight at an outstation.

A. Aircraft Configuration
(1) Park the aircraft on a flat surface. Make sure that the wheels of the nose landing gear are aligned with the aircraft axis and aircraft points into the wind.
(2) Put fiber material between the tires and the ground surface.
(3) Make sure that the wheel chocks are in position.
(4) On the panel 110VU, make sure that the PARKING BRK control-switch is in the OFF position.
Subtask 12-31-10-620-051-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Park the aircraft on a flat surface. Make sure that the wheels of the nose landing gear are aligned with the aircraft axis and aircraft points into the wind.

(3) Make sure that 98D32000005000 COVER-MAIN LANDING GEAR is installed on the Main Landing Gear (MLG) wheels.
Subtask 12-31-10-620-051-B ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Make sure that the seals of the doors are lubricated with grease (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-52-660-001).
WARNING:
BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO WORK ON THE ENGINE AFTER SHUTDOWN. THE ENGINE CAN STAY HOT FOR A LONG TIME. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION, INJURY CAN OCCUR.
CAUTION:
INSTALL PROTECTION COVERS ON ALL THE OPENINGS IMMEDIATELY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.
CAUTION:
DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE CAN OCCUR IF SNOW AND RAIN ENTERS THE ENGINE DURING COLD WEATHER CONDITIONS. ICE CAN FORM AND PREVENT ENGINE ROTATION. ICE ON THE ROTORS CAN ALSO CAUSE ROTOR IMBALANCE. INSTALL INLET AND EXHAUST COVERS TO PREVENT MOISTURE FROM ENTERING THE ENGINE.
(2) Make sure that 98D10000013000 COVER-INLET COWL ENGINE, RSE1132 COVER - COMMON NOZZLE, HIX6002 HALF PLUG, RIGHT-THRUST REVERSER and HIX6003 HALF PLUG, LEFT-THRUST REVERSER are installed on the engines. (3) Make sure that 98D32000005000 COVER-MAIN LANDING GEAR is installed on the Main Landing Gear (MLG) wheels.
NOTE: Keep the 98D32000005000 COVER-MAIN LANDING GEAR installed on the MLG wheels until the departure of the aircraft. Remove it only if you do a maintenance task on the brake assembly.
NOTE: This tool is included in the 98D20003001000 KIT,COLD WEATHER-MLG WHEELS,ENGINES,PROBES.
B. Aircraft Protection
(1) Make sure that the seals of the doors are lubricated with grease (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-52-660-001).
(2) Prepare the engine for the cold weather after shutdown (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-660-803).
(3) Make sure that the 98D32000005000 COVER-MAIN LANDING GEAR is installed on the Main Landing Gear (MLG) wheels.
4. Procedure(1) Make sure that the seals of the doors are lubricated with grease (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-52-660-001).
(2) Prepare the engine for the cold weather after shutdown (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-660-803).
(3) Make sure that the 98D32000005000 COVER-MAIN LANDING GEAR is installed on the Main Landing Gear (MLG) wheels.
NOTE: The 98D32000005000 COVER-MAIN LANDING GEAR will stay installed on the MLG wheels until the departure of the aircraft. You can remove it only to do a maintenance task on the brake assembly.
NOTE: This tool is included in the 98D20003001000 KIT,COLD WEATHER-MLG WHEELS,ENGINES,PROBES.

A. Electrical Power
(1) Keep the aircraft electrical circuits energized:

- Energize the electrical circuits from the APU (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002) or
- Energize the electrical circuits from the external power (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
B. Auxiliary Power Unit
(1) If the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) operates, do not stop it.
(2) If the APU does not operate continuously, you must operate it for one hour every three hours to make sure that it is available when the aircraft is ready to go.

C. Air Conditioning
(1) Do the air pre-conditioning-cold weather procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-21-660-001).

D. Refueling
(1) If you must do a refueling procedure, refer to the cold-weather fuel procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-28-660-001) for:

- The anti-icing additives procedure
- The fuel-tank water drain procedure.
NOTE: It is not necessary to do the fuel-tank water drain procedure at each refueling. The MPD gives the fuel-tank water drain frequency.
E. Water/Waste
(1) If you must drain the water tank and waste tank, refer to water/waste cold- weather procedure (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-38-660-001).

F. Hydraulic System Preparation with APU in Operation
(4) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-863-001).
Subtask 12-31-10-660-076-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT HYDRAULIC POWER IS IN OPERATION A MINIMUM OF 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOU OPERATE COMPONENTS THAT USE HYDRAULIC POWER.
CAUTION:
DO NOT BLEED THE NORMAL AND ALTERNATE BRAKING SYSTEMS WHEN THE TEMPERATURE OF THE BRAKING-EQUIPMENT SAFETY VALVE IS LESS THAN -40 DEG.C (-40 DEG.F). THIS CAN CAUSE THE SAFETY VALVE TO CLOSE.
(1) On the overhead panel 23VU: - Release the FLT CTL/ELAC 1, FLT CTL/SEC 1 and FAC 1 pushbutton switches (the OFF and FAULT legends of these pushbutton switches come on).
- Release the FLT CTL/ELAC 2, FLT CTL/SEC 2, FLT CTL/SEC 3 and FAC 2 pushbutton switches (the OFF and FAULT legends of these pushbutton switches come on).
(4) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-863-001).
NOTE: If during pressurization of the Blue and Yellow hydraulic systems, circuit breakers 2701GJ and 3802GX open, start the pumps again after 5 minutes. If the pumps do not start, blow warn air in the Blue and Yellow electric pump compartments.
(5) Pressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-863-001). G. Braking and Hydraulic System Preparation with APU Stopped
(2) After 45 minutes, open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Blow air at a temperature of 30 DEG.C (86.00 DEG.F) on the brake accumulator 2582GM for for 10 minutes with the HOT AIR BLOWER MAX OPERATING 55DEG C (131 DEG F).
(4) Read the gauge on the accumulator to do a check of the nitrogen charge pressure (Ref. AMM TASK 32-44-11-200-001).
(5) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001) and blow air at a temperature of 30 DEG.C (86.00 DEG.F) in the space between the closed MLG doors and the wing.
(9) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-863-001).
(11) Remove the 98D32000005000 COVER-MAIN LANDING GEAR from the MLG wheels.
(12) On the panel 400VU, make sure that the A/SKID & N/W STRG control switch is ON (normal braking mode).
(13) Slowly operate the brake pedals ten times.
(a) If the braking system changes to alternate during the test:
1 Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
2 With the HOT AIR BLOWER MAX OPERATING 55DEG C (131 DEG F), blow air at a temperature of 30 DEG.C (86.00 DEG.F) on the brake selector valve 23GG for 10 minutes.
3 Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
4 On the panel 400VU, set the A/SKID & N/W STRG control switch to OFF.
5 On the panel 400VU, set the A/SKID & N/W STRG control switch to ON.
6 Operate the brake pedals ten times.
7 If the braking system changes to alternate, do the trouble shooting procedure TSM 32-42-00-810-849.
(14) Remove hydraulic fluid that can be on the brakes.
(15) Measure the leakage rate of the brake unit (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-790-001).
(16) Remove the hydraulic fluid from the brakes.
(17) If the measured leakage rate is more than the maximum permitted leakage rate:
(a) Slowly operate the brake pedals ten times.
(b) Measure the leakage rate of the brake unit (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-790-001).
(18) After the second leakage rate test, if the measured leakage rate is more than the permitted maximum leakage rate, replace the brake unit (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-27-000-001).
(20) Slowly operate the brake pedals ten times.
(21) Measure the leakage rate of the brake unit (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-790-001).
(22) Remove the hydraulic fluid from the brakes.
(23) If the measured leakage rate is more than the maximum permitted leakage rate:
(a) Slowly operate the pedals ten times.
(b) Measure the leakage rate of the brake unit (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-790-001).
(24) After the second leakage rate test, if the measured leakage rate is more than the permitted maximum leakage rate, replace the brake unit (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-27-000-001).
(26) At 30 minute intervals until the aircraft departure, slowly operate the brake pedals ten times in normal and alternate braking mode.
(27) Before aircraft departure, on the panel 400VU, make sure that the A/SKID & N/W STRG control switch is in the ON position.
Subtask 12-31-10-660-077-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT HYDRAULIC POWER IS IN OPERATION A MINIMUM OF 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOU OPERATE COMPONENTS THAT USE HYDRAULIC POWER.
CAUTION:
DO NOT BLEED THE NORMAL AND ALTERNATE BRAKING SYSTEMS WHEN THE TEMPERATURE OF THE BRAKING-EQUIPMENT SAFETY VALVE IS LESS THAN -40 DEG.C (-40 DEG.F). THIS CAN CAUSE THE SAFETY VALVE TO CLOSE.
(1) On each side of the aircraft, install the HOT AIR BLOWER MAX OPERATING 55DEG C (131 DEG F) in the space between the closed MLG doors and the wing. Blow air at a temperature of 30 DEG.C (86.00 DEG.F) for 45 minutes. (2) After 45 minutes, open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(3) Blow air at a temperature of 30 DEG.C (86.00 DEG.F) on the brake accumulator 2582GM for for 10 minutes with the HOT AIR BLOWER MAX OPERATING 55DEG C (131 DEG F).
(4) Read the gauge on the accumulator to do a check of the nitrogen charge pressure (Ref. AMM TASK 32-44-11-200-001).
(5) Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001) and blow air at a temperature of 30 DEG.C (86.00 DEG.F) in the space between the closed MLG doors and the wing.
NOTE: Blow air at a temperature of 30 DEG.C (86.00 DEG.F) in the MLG compartment until you start the engine.
(6) On the overhead panel 23VU: - Release the FLT CTL/ELAC 1, FLT CTL/SEC 1 and FAC 1 pushbutton switches (the OFF and FAULT legends of these pushbutton switches come on).
- Release the FLT CTL/ELAC 2, FLT CTL/SEC 2, FLT CTL/SEC 3 and FAC 2 pushbutton switches (the OFF and FAULT legends of these pushbutton switches come on).
(9) Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-24-00-863-001).
NOTE: If during pressurization of the Blue and Yellow hydraulic systems, circuit breakers 2701CJ and 3802GX open, start the pumps again after 5 minutes. If the pumps do not start, blow warm air in the Blue and Yellow electric pump compartments.
(10) Pressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. AMM TASK 29-23-00-863-001). (11) Remove the 98D32000005000 COVER-MAIN LANDING GEAR from the MLG wheels.
(12) On the panel 400VU, make sure that the A/SKID & N/W STRG control switch is ON (normal braking mode).
(13) Slowly operate the brake pedals ten times.
(a) If the braking system changes to alternate during the test:
1 Open the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
2 With the HOT AIR BLOWER MAX OPERATING 55DEG C (131 DEG F), blow air at a temperature of 30 DEG.C (86.00 DEG.F) on the brake selector valve 23GG for 10 minutes.
3 Close the right MLG door (Ref. AMM TASK 32-12-00-410-001).
4 On the panel 400VU, set the A/SKID & N/W STRG control switch to OFF.
5 On the panel 400VU, set the A/SKID & N/W STRG control switch to ON.
6 Operate the brake pedals ten times.
7 If the braking system changes to alternate, do the trouble shooting procedure TSM 32-42-00-810-849.
(14) Remove hydraulic fluid that can be on the brakes.
(15) Measure the leakage rate of the brake unit (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-790-001).
(16) Remove the hydraulic fluid from the brakes.
(17) If the measured leakage rate is more than the maximum permitted leakage rate:
(a) Slowly operate the brake pedals ten times.
(b) Measure the leakage rate of the brake unit (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-790-001).
(18) After the second leakage rate test, if the measured leakage rate is more than the permitted maximum leakage rate, replace the brake unit (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-27-000-001).
NOTE: Airbus recommends that you only replace the brake unit when the Outside Air Temperature (OAT) is more than -40 DEG.C (-40.00 DEG.F).
(19) On the panel 400VU, set the A/SKID & N/W STRG control switch to OFF (alternate braking mode). (20) Slowly operate the brake pedals ten times.
(21) Measure the leakage rate of the brake unit (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-790-001).
(22) Remove the hydraulic fluid from the brakes.
(23) If the measured leakage rate is more than the maximum permitted leakage rate:
(a) Slowly operate the pedals ten times.
(b) Measure the leakage rate of the brake unit (Ref. AMM TASK 29-00-00-790-001).
(24) After the second leakage rate test, if the measured leakage rate is more than the permitted maximum leakage rate, replace the brake unit (Ref. AMM TASK 32-42-27-000-001).
NOTE: Airbus recommends that you only replace the brake unit when the Outside Air Temperature (OAT) is more than -40 DEG.C (-40.00 DEG.F).
(25) On the panel 400VU, set the A/SKID & N/W STRG control switch to ON. (26) At 30 minute intervals until the aircraft departure, slowly operate the brake pedals ten times in normal and alternate braking mode.
(27) Before aircraft departure, on the panel 400VU, make sure that the A/SKID & N/W STRG control switch is in the ON position.
H. Landing Gear and Landing Gear Bay Preparation
(1) Open the nose landing gear doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001).
(2) Blow air at 30 DEG.C (86.00 DEG.F) in the NLG bay at the NLG actuating cylinder and NLG door actuating cylinder for 45 minutes with the HOT AIR BLOWER MAX OPERATING 55 DEG.C (131.00 DEG.F).
(3) Close the nose landing gear doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-410-001).
(4) Blow air at 30 DEG.C (86.00 DEG.F) at the MLG actuating cylinder for 45 minutes with the HOT AIR BLOWER MAX OPERATING 55 DEG.C (131.00 DEG.F).
(5) Remove ice and/or snow from the landing gears (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-32-660-001).
(6) Do a check of the tire pressure. If necessary inflate the tire (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-32-660-001).
Subtask 12-31-10-660-056-A ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Open the nose landing gear doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-010-001).
(2) Blow air at 30 DEG.C (86.00 DEG.F) in the NLG bay at the NLG actuating cylinder and NLG door actuating cylinder for 45 minutes with the HOT AIR BLOWER MAX OPERATING 55 DEG.C (131.00 DEG.F).
(3) Close the nose landing gear doors (Ref. AMM TASK 32-22-00-410-001).
(4) Blow air at 30 DEG.C (86.00 DEG.F) at the MLG actuating cylinder for 45 minutes with the HOT AIR BLOWER MAX OPERATING 55 DEG.C (131.00 DEG.F).
(5) Remove ice and/or snow from the landing gears (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-32-660-001).
(6) Do a check of the tire pressure. If necessary inflate the tire (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-32-660-001).
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT HYDRAULIC POWER IS IN OPERATION A MINIMUM OF 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOU OPERATE COMPONENTS THAT USE HYDRAULIC POWER.
I. Flight Controls Preparation NOTE: The time between the end of the flight controls preparation and the flight departure must not be more than 1.5 hours with the electric pumps and the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) in operation. If the time is more than 1.5 hours, you must do the flight controls preparation again.
(1) On the overhead panel 20VU, on the ADIRS CDU: - Set the three OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches to NAV.
- Push the FLT CTL/ELAC 1, FLT CTL/SEC 1 and FAC 1 pushbutton switches (the OFF and FAULT legends of these pushbutton switches go off).
- Push the FLT CTL/ELAC2, FLT CTL/SEC 2, FLT CTL/SEC 3 and FAC 2 pushbutton switches (the OFF and FAULT legends of these pushbutton switches go off).
NOTE: The time necessary for the computer start is 2 minutes.
(4) Slowly move the flight controls from stop to stop for at least 5 minutes in each axis, in this sequence: (a) Move the CAPT (F/O) side stick from stop to stop in pitch. On the lower ECAM display unit, on the FLT CTL page, make sure that the elevators move.
(b) Move the CAPT (F/O) side stick from stop to stop in roll. On the lower ECAM display unit, on the FLT CTL page, make sure that the ailerons move and that the spoilers (2, 3, 4, 5) extend.
(c) On the nosewheel steering handwheel, push the pedal disconnection pushbutton and push the rudder pedals from right stop to left stop. On the lower ECAM display unit, on the FLT CTL page, make sure that the rudder moves.
(5) On the overhead panel 24VU:
- Release the FLT CTL/ELAC 2 pushbutton switch (the OFF legend of this pushbutton switch comes on).
(7) On the overhead panel 24VU:
- Push the FLT CTL/ELAC 2 pushbutton switch (the OFF and FAULT legends of this pushbutton switch go off).
- Release the FLT CTL/ELAC 1 pushbutton switch (the OFF legend of this pushbutton switch comes on).
(10) On the overhead panel 23VU:
- Push the FLT CTL/ELAC 1 pushbutton switch (the OFF and FAULT legends of this pushbutton switch go off).
(12) On the overhead panel 23VU, release and push the FLT CTL/ELAC 1 pushbutton switch to do a reset of the pitch trim.
(13) On the nosewheel steering handwheel, push the pedal disconnection pushbutton and move the rudder trim from 5 degrees to -5 degrees. On the center pedestal, on the panel 408VU, push the RUD TRIM/RESET pushbutton switch to set the rudder to neutral.
(14) On the center pedestal, move the speedbrake control lever from the 0 position to the 1/2 position. Move the speedbrake control lever from the 1/2 position to the FULL position, then back to the 0 position.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT YOU MOVE THE SLAT/FLAP CONTROL LEVER ONE NOTCH AT A TIME.
(15) On the center pedestal, move the slat and flap control lever from the 0 position to the first notch position. Make sure that the flaps stop at the first position selected (1+F). (16) Operate again the side stick in pitch and roll at full speed:
(a) Move the CAPT (F/O) side stick from stop to stop in pitch for 2 minutes. On the lower ECAM display unit, on the FLT CTL page, make sure that the elevators move.
(b) Move the CAPT (F/O) side stick from stop to stop in roll for 2 minutes. On the lower ECAM display unit, on the FLT CTL page, make sure that the ailerons move and that the spoilers (2, 3, 4, 5) extend.
CAUTION:
MAKE SURE THAT YOU MOVE THE SLAT/FLAP CONTROL LEVER ONE NOTCH AT A TIME.
(17) On the center pedestal, set the slat and flap control lever to positions 2, 3 and FULL. Stop at each notch until the flaps stop at each position selected. (18) On the center pedestal, set the slat and flap control lever to positions FULL, 3, 2, 1+F and 0. Stop at each notch until the flaps stop at each position selected.
(19) Do the operational test of the Green and Yellow yaw dampers (Ref. AMM TASK 22-63-00-710-001).
(20) Do the operational test of the travel limitation unit (Ref. AMM TASK 22-61-00-710-001).
(21) Make sure that the FLT CLT/ELAC 1, FLT CTL/ ELAC2, FLT CTL/SEC 1, FLT CTL/SEC2, FLT CTL/SEC 3, FAC 1 and FAC 2 pushbutton switches are pushed (the OFF and FAULT legends of these pushbutton switches are off).
(22) Do a BITE test of the Electrical Flight Control System (EFCS) (Ground Scanning) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-96-00-740-001) and make sure that there is no warning.
J. Power Plant
(1) Remove the HOT AIR BLOWER MAX OPERATING 55DEG C (131 DEG F) from the aircraft.
(2) Engine start:
(a) If the period of turnaround is less than 3 hours with OAT between -40 DEG.C (-40.00 DEG.F) and -46 DEG.C (-50.80 DEG.F), start the engine in cold weather conditions (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-003).
(b) If the period of turnaround is more than 3 hours with OAT between -40 DEG.C (-40.00 DEG.F) and -46 DEG.C (-50.80 DEG.F), do the engine start procedure after the engine cold soak (Ref. AMM TASK 12-31-70-660-002).
Subtask 12-31-10-660-057-D ** ON A/C NOT FOR ALL (1) Remove the HOT AIR BLOWER MAX OPERATING 55DEG C (131 DEG F) from the aircraft.
(2) Engine start:

J. Power Plant
(1) Remove the HOT AIR BLOWER MAX OPERATING 55DEG C (131 DEG F) from the aircraft.
(2) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is OFF.
(3) Start the engine in cold weather conditions (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-826).
5. Close-up(1) Remove the HOT AIR BLOWER MAX OPERATING 55DEG C (131 DEG F) from the aircraft.
(2) On the ENG section of maintenance panel 50VU, make sure that the ON legend of the FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is OFF.
(3) Start the engine in cold weather conditions (Ref. AMM TASK 71-00-00-860-826).
