1. Description
The forward fairing is composed by :

Forward Fairing- 9 ribs
- 2 longitudinal zoning walls (bulkhead)
- A visor supported by spring blades
- 1 bottom cap
- Skin
- Fan cowl hinge fittings made of titanium.
- Compartment B1 includes 2 pressure relief doors calibrated at 200 mbars to prevent any overpressure in case of an air duct failure.
- Compartment A includes also one pressure relief valve to prevent any overpressure in case of an air duct failure.
- Monel rivets are used for attachment.
- In some limited areas spot welding is also used.
- All the access panels are bolted.
